Poroshenko Needs to Step up Minsk Implementation, Lavrov: Unipolar World No Longer Exists,
NATO’s anto-Russian Drills in Lithuania, Turkish Army Enters Kurdish city of Silvan

No ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces have been registered on the territory of DPR over the last 24 hours, local administrations reported on Friday. The situation is also stable in LPR. We remember, the Paris summit in the Normandy format – Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France – is scheduled for today. One of the goals of the talks will be to ensure the autonomy status for the war-torn Donbass region. However, the situation could be solve only if Poroshenko will start follow Misnk agreements, at least.

The unipolar world order has ceased to exist now that powerful new centers of economic growth are emerging in Asia and Latin America, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview on Thursday. “Old habits die hard. Parting with one’s sense of global dominion is not easy and this process is going to be long and painful” Lavrov said on Venezuelan state television. He also underscored the need to end the longtime practice of using one country’s laws on the territory of another. All this should be done strictly in line with the UN Charter and without undermining the authority of the UN Security Council.

Nearly 1,000 soldiers and around 100 pieces of military equipment have been deployed in Lithuania as part of the month-long Baltic Piranha military exercise taking place in the framework of NATO’s “assurance measures,” launched in response to perceived “challenges” posed by Russia. The war games, which will last until October 28, will see 500 Lithuanian soldiers join forces with Belgian, American and Luxembourgian troops. While Russia bombs terrorists in Syria, NATO peacemakers prepares for the war against Russians.

Today, the Turkish Army and police have entered the city of Silvan in southeastern Turkey, which has a mainly Kurdish population. Intensive gunfire and heavy artillery are rocking the city. Helicopters and armored vehicles have reportedly been deployed in at least three of the city’s neighborhoods. The Turkish government also prefers to not fight ISIS. Kurds are its real aim.
