- More Than 61% of Greeks Say ‘No’ in Crucial Bailout Referendum – Early Results
More than 60 percent of Greeks have voted “No” in Sunday’s referendum on the bailout deal and austerity measures, reported the Interior Ministry after more than 40 percent of the vote had been counted.
About 9.9 million Greeks were eligible to take part in the vote, which was labeled #Greferendum on social media.

According to the First Deputy Defense Minister of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Sergey Shamberin, Ukrainian security forces used chemical bombs during the shelling of the village of Semenovka in Donbass.
The Ukrainian authorities started a military operation in Donbass last year against local residents who had refused to recognize a coup in February 2014. According to the latest UN data, there are about 6.5 thousand people who have fallen victim to the conflict.

Iran and the P5+1 group of international negotiators seek to complete talks on Tehran’s nuclear program within the next two days, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said Sunday.
The deadline for a comprehensive Iran nuclear deal had initially been set for July 30, but the talks were extended until July 7.
“The main thing to know is to see if Iran makes clear commitments,” Fabius told reporters.

- Tunisian President Declares Emergency
Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi on Saturday declared a 30-day state of emergency, saying another attack such as last week’s terrorist massacre at a beach hotel would “cause the country to collapse.”
The declaration gives the military and police more authority to combat terrorism and places restrictions on such rights as public assembly. Essebsi pledged to respect freedom of expression.

At least five worshippers were killed in Sunday’s attack as they were entering the church in Potiskum in the north-east of the country.
The Islamist extremists of Boko Haram have carried out a six-year campaign of violence in Nigeria’s northeast.
The recent attacks have brought condemnation from Nigeria’s president.
