SDF`s are not like that at all. If there were good reasons, they will be regrouped.
Assad and Putin must infiltrate SDF. Take some units and make them work in SDF. Take the ex-leader of SDF that defect from SDF. After that, make an uprise in SDF and uprise into the population. And, come to fight to save them with no mercy and being ruthless with all the propagenda tool necessary to succeed.
It’s the only way I see to ever recover what USA stole. If you don’t want to, don’t expect USA to give back what the have stolen and face the consequences of having a South-Korea, east of Syria.

Leaders of PMU publicly refused to take order from the US. Al- Muhandes, said on TV that they regard themselves in the same trench with the resistance axis”. Few days after that interview, the coalition forces bombed the PMU in Al Anbar “by mistake” [sic]. The PMU leader responded by threatening resuming hostility against US in Iraq. the US Backed off. If the SDF wants their men back they should ask Syrian Gov for help, because that is the only voice to which the PMU listen to.
Most soldiers in the SDF could be forced conscripts and others are forced to join the Northern Syrian army, people who don’t want to fight their government for the Kurds or the US.
