The Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria has announced some numbers, depicting intermediate results of the ongoing operation of government forces in Aleppo city.
In the last 24 hours, the Syrian army and its allies have liberated 12 neighborhoods, comprising roughly 40 percent of the territory previously controlled by the militants in the Aleppo city.
Over 100 militants laid down their arms and left eastern Aleppo through the opened corridor.
The Russian center added that it deployed additional 150 field kitchens to distribute hot meals among civilians fleeing the militant-held areas of the city.
Earlier today reports appeared that about 10,000 civilians civilians had fled from the militant-held area of Aleppo city to government and YPG controlled areas.
