‘It’s no secret that the UK have maintained a cosy relationship with Saudi Arabia both politically and militarily, the sales of military hardware from the UK to Saudi-Arabia is in its billions’
Claims that British military experts have been assisting Saudi coalition forces have been denied by the Ministry of Defence(MoD). The UK’s relationship with Saudi-Arabia can best be described by its military exports to Saudi-Arabia, It’s a bountiful one to say the least. Despite the systematic human-rights abuses in Saudi-Arabia the west continues to support it, both militarily and politically.
According to Sky news 6 British military experts have gone to Saudi-Arabia to assist with the conflict in Yemen. The experts are being brought in to help locate and target Houthi fighters and their allies. MoD officials have insisted that British personel are not assisting in the fighting but are training Saudi forces.
Since the beginning of the conflict thousands have died, many at the hands of Saudi forces which have targetted residential districts, the grave injustices have been well documented yet certain establishments still assist and support, this makes these establishments culpable for the injustices both in Yemen and at home.
