Few hours earlier, a rocket launched from Greater Idlib hit the Municipal Palace in the city center of Aleppo. The attack caused material damage and injured a little girl.

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) responded to these attacks by shelling militants’ positions in the towns of Kafr Naha, Khan Al-Asal and Kafr Hamrah west and northwest of Aleppo. Syrian warplanes also conducted a series of airstrikes on the town of al-Bawabiya in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo.

No group has claimed responsibility for these attacks, yet. However, several units of the Turkish-backed National Front for Liberation (NFL) are known to be stationed north and west of Aleppo. This suggests that the group may have been involved in the deadly attack.

TEHRAN (FNA)- Tens of ISIL terrorists have been transferred from Turkey to Afrin region in Northwestern Aleppo as reports said the Turkish Army and its affiliated militants are preparing to launch a major offensive on the US-backed Kurdish fighters in Eastern Euphrates. The Kurdish-language Hawar News Website quoted local sources in Afrin as saying the ISIL terrorists have become active along Turkey’s borders with al-Shieh region in Afrin. The sources said that the Turkish Army and its allied militants have sent 30 ISIL terrorists who had been trained by the Turkish Army in Hatay province of Turkey to al-Shieh region. Hawar noted that thousands of Turkey-backed terrorists have recently been dispatched to Afrin from Idlib province. The well-trained ISIL terrorists are being dispatched to Afrin by Ankara as the Turkish Army is preparing for dispatch massive military equipment to borders with Syria to launch a major operation against the Kurdish militias in Northeastern Syria. In a relevant development earlier on Sunday, the Arabic-language media outlets reported that the Turkish Army has equipped the terrorist groups with state-of-the-art weapons which were also used by the militants in their recent failed attack in Northern Syria. The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper noted that the terrorists have used the advanced weapons they have just received from Turkey in their recent foiled attack on the Syrian Army’s military positions in the town of al-Hamamiat and its strategic hilltop. The daily said that the strategic hilltop is located along Saqilbieh-Mahradeh Road in Northern Hama, adding that the Turkish Army has dispatched well-trained foreign and Arab terrorists, who have been equipped with highly-advanced weapons together with anti-Tank weapons, to confront the Syrian Army in Northern Syria. The newspaper pointed to Ankara’s defeat in the most difficult battle to take back the region, and said that the Syrian Army troops have heightened security in al-Hamamiat town as fierce clashes with Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) terrorists are still underway there. The Syrian Army’s air and ground forces, meantime, pounded the terrorists’ military positions in the town of al-Sarmanieh in Sahl al-Ghab in Western Hama, killing a number of terrorists, including their senior commander, Mohammad Fazel Ali Barbouri. The Syrian airstrikes and ground offensives came in response to the terrorists’ rocket attacks on the Syrian Army’s military points and residential areas in the towns of Hayalin, Ain Salimu and Jourin in Northern Hama. In Southern Idlib, meantime, the Syrian Air Force also pounded the military positions and movements of the terrorists in the town of Khan Sheikhoun, Maret al-Numan, Ariha, outskirts of Khan al-Sabal and Rab al-Jour, destroying a training camp of Tahrir al-Sham near al-Hamedieh and killing all the terrorists inside the base.

TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior Iraqi lawmaker warned of the US embassy’s suspicious activities in the country, adding that the mission hosts Mossad agents and ISIL terrorists. “The US embassy in Baghdad has turned into a center for Israel’s Mossad and ISIL terrorists,” Hassan Salem was quoted as saying by the Arabic-language al-Soumeriyeh news website on Saturday. He added that the US mission has forgotten its diplomatic responsibility and protection of the American nationals in Iraq and is interfering in the country’s internal affairs by spying, spreading rumors and hatching plots. “The US embassy’s violation of laws and forgetting its responsibilities based on the international laws mean that the center could not be called an embassy and therefore, its closure is legally necessary,” Salem said. In relevant remarks in March, a prominent Iraqi security expert had also revealed that the American embassy in Iraq is acting as the US-Israeli operations room against the region. Abbas al-Ardawi was quoted by the Arabic-language al-Ma’alomeh news website as saying that the US administration was exerting pressures on Baghdad and killing time to prolong its deployment in Iraq. He added that relocation of terrorists from the town of Baqouz in Eastern Syria to the US bases in Iraq is aimed at security tensions in the country and finding a pretext for continued deployment of American forces, noting that the Iraqi parliamentarians certainly want expulsion of all US forces from the country as soon as possible given the fact that the Iraqi army is fully prepared to fight against the terrorist groups. Al-Ardawi said that the US embassy in Baghdad was carrying out suspicious measures, adding that it has turned into a large operations room for implementation of plots and operations in Iraq and the region under the supervision of Israeli agents. Another senior Iraqi expert had in January warned of Washington’s attempts to increase its influence in Iraq, saying that Israeli spies and ISIL terrorists were present at the US bases in Iraq. Hafez Al-e Basharah told al-Ma’aloumeh news website that the US was attempting to boost its presence in Iraq and the American forces have been stationed in the Southern parts of Baghdad, specially al-Suwaireh and al-Aziziyeh regions. He added that the Iraqi government’s assessments that the foreign military advisors are stationed in the country are outdated, noting that the information obtained by the resistance forces indicate that combat forces are deployed in the US bases and their numbers is on rise each day. Basharah said that the US forces do not allow any Iraqis to enter the occupied bases in the country to conceal the realities from the public opinion, adding that the Israeli intelligence forces are active in these bases and the ISIL terrorists are sheltered and trained in them.

Well, because of the position of Russia-Syria with respect to Turkey-USA-Israel (Russia continue pleasing Turkey and Israel, and Syria-Russia trying to avoid confrontation with USA), it looks like this will happen over and over again.

Next Astana Meeting Last Deadline by Syria, Russia to Turkey to Complete Idlib Operation in Idlib

TEHRAN (FNA)- Damascus and Moscow have given a last chance to Ankara to fully conduct its military operations in Idlib province before the upcoming Astana meeting on Syria, media reports said Monday. The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper quoted special sources as saying that the new round of Astana meeting in Kazakhstan’s capital will be held on August 1-2 and it will be the last chance for Turkey to fulfill its commitments under the Russia-Turkey agreement on Idlib. The sources noted that the delays by Turkey in implementing the Sochi agreement are not acceptable, and said that if Ankara does not fulfill its commitments, the Syrian Army will most probably conduct its cleansing operation in the remaining regions of Idlib. Meantime, the daily quoted sources close to Ankara as saying that the Ankara-backed terrorist commanders attended a meeting with Turkish Army commanders in the Turkish capital earlier this week. They said that the Turkish Army intends to maintain the areas under its control in Northern, Northwestern and Southern Idlib as long as possible before the next meeting. The sources also pointed to Turkey’s fear from possible military operations by Russia and Syria to take full control over the towns of Jabal Shahshabou in Northwestern Hama to Jisr al-Shoghour along Aleppo-Lattakia highway, and said that Turkey has promised Tahrir al-Sham and other terrorist groups to send fresh militants of Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch from Aleppo to these regions. Turkey has also sent more Islamic Turkistani Party terrorists to battlefields in Northern Hama from Western Idlib. In a relevant development earlier in July, a Syrian government cultural official said that Turkey is helping the militants in excavation of historical and ancient sites in the Ankara-controlled occupied areas in Northern Syria as the terrorists have transferred tens of thousands of artifacts to Turkey, a government cultural official said. The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper quoted Director-General of Syria’s Museums and Ancient Sites Mahmoud Hamoud as saying that according to reliable intelligence, Turkish officials along with their allied militants have started excavations for artefacts in most of the regions and ancient hills of Afrin, including Tal Borj Abdalou, Tal Ain Dareh, Tal Jandaris and Nabi Hora which are thousands of years old. Hamoud noted that the terrorists have plundered about 75,000 artifacts from Syrian museums, including museums in Idlib and Raqqa, and said that a sum of 25,000 artefacts of Syria have so far been smuggled into Turkey so far. The Syrian official also said that over 1 million Syrian artifacts have been stolen by terrorists from different regions…
