On February 13, heavy clashes broke out between two Turkish-backed factions in the occupied area of Afrin in northern Syria.
The clashes erupted when the Shamiya Front launched a large attack on headquarters and posts of Jaysh al-Islam in Afrin’s city center. Shamiya Front militants were reportedly chasing a wanted man who took refuge at one of Jaysh al-Islam positions.
The Shamiya Front and Jaysh al-Islam employed heavy weapons during the clashes which went on for several hours. Both factions are a part of the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army.
According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, two militants of Jaysh al-Islam were killed and at least 12 others were injured.
The clashes came to an end in the afternoon. A Sharia [Islamic] committee was formed by local Sheikhs to end the conflict between the two sides.
The Turkish military and its proxies captured Afrin from Kurdish forces in a rapid attack early on 2018. Since then, the region has been unstable.
Chaos and unrest prevail over Turkish-occupied areas in northern and northeastern Syria. Earlier today, an explosion in the Turkish-occupied town of al-Rai, east of Afrin, claimed the lives of two people and injured eight others.
Its very visible. If You should choiose between johadisme and Assad, You should choose none:(
Those and the Assads all should start in the Kurdish School programme and treated as they were 5 years old or less.
Number one would be all those weapons should be given to the vomen, which could shoot anyone, they dont like.
Welcome to Erdogan’s safe zone in Syria, the least safe place on earth.
Turkish (backed) scumbags are eating each other. Good.
Rats are eating each others. Yes, Wahhabis are just like that.
It’s good to see that the Turkish admin has everything under control in Afrin.:)
