More than 1,500 foreign terrorists crossed from Turkey territory into the opposition-held areas in northwestern Syria in the last few days, Sputnik reported on February 6 citing local sources.
According to the sources, the terrorists entered northern Syria in trucks provided by the Turkish Gendarmerie General Command, which oversaw and facilitated their movement.
“Asian militants were moved to the city of Jisr al-Shughur that’s controlled by Chinese and Turkistan groups, while the militants from other nationalities were sent to camps of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and Horas al-Din in the southern and southeastern Idlib countryside,” Sputnik’s report reads.
Most of the opposition-held areas in northwestern Syria are now controlled by HTS, which had been the main branch of al-Qaeda in the war-torn country. The radical group’s relations with foreign terrorists is known to be excellent.
Recently, most terrorist groups in northwestern Syria issued an official statement reaffirming their support to HTS and calling it the “the dignity of Ahl al-Sunnah [followers of the Sunni sect] in Bilad al-Sham [the Levant].”
There is no evidence to prove that Turkey is currently helping foreign terrorist to enter Syria. However, there is no doubt that Ankara has been turning a blind eye at their presence near its border for a long time.

Actually, the Wahhabi cannon fodder is getting scarce and the Turkeys with European intelligence agencies are making a last ditch desperate recruitment drive in EU slums to get these morons to sign up for Syria. It is no coincidence that Salafist terrorism in Europe has declined as the headchoppers are heading for Turkey again where the CIA and MIT trains and arms them. In the Jihadi magazines, the current rate for terrorism is over $1000 a month, used to be $400 but the terrorist crop is getting scarce since Iran, SAA, Hezbollah and Russia have whacked over 180,000 so far.

The irony is, had Putin held firm on cleaning up these jihadists, Turkey’s overriding economic and energy interests would have been exactly the same; so in all likelihood Erdogan would’ve said some mean words, and then swallowed his Ottoman pride and gotten into those pipeline etc deals with Russia regardless. If Russia can attack all weapons, gathering and battalions of Alqaida in Idlib and Syria storm all camps then it will be game over for USA presence and Erdogan interference. There will be no reason to fight anymore.
