On September 7, units of the DPR People’s Militia supported by Russian forces finished the mop up operations on the western outskirts of the town of Peski.
After the 11th regiment, the battalion “Somalia” and the special forces units of the DPR People’s Militia took full control of the seed factory located in the area, they focused on the storming of the village of Pervomaiskoe, where the fighting has been going on for several weeks.
On September 5, assault groups of the 11th regiment of the DPR, with the support of armored vehicles, entered the territory of the village of Pervomaiske from the junction on the ring road south of Peski.
The 11 regiment of the DPR People’s Militia has shared several videos showing the destruction of the Ukrainian military positions in the area. The footage once again confirmed that the AFU suffer heavy losses in the area:
On September 6, the group of the DPR special forces organized a mine trap for Ukrainian forces in the area between Peski and Vodyane. As a result of the attack, a NATO armored personnel carrier with a crew and a landing group inside was destroyed.

To the north of Peski, the AFU units were unable to withstand the density of artillery fire and suffered losses in manpower. As a result, they left their strongholds near the western part of the runway of Donetsk airport.
