A police officer and a courthouse employee have been killed and five other people injured in a car bomb attack outside Izmir courthouse in western Turkey. Two suspected attackers have been killed as result of a gunfight with police.
According to media reports, Turkish security forces are searching for a third suspect.
Governor of Izmir, Erol Ayyildiz, said that initial findings suggest Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militants were behind the attack.
