Two people were shot, one of them was killed, in downtown Louisville on June 27, according to US Police. The incident happend at around 9 p.m. (local time) in Jefferson Square Park. Forces of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department performed life-saving measures on a male victim who eventually died.
Shortly thereafter, another person shot at the Hall of Justice. The injured person was taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers cleared the park completely and have secured the entire area so homicide detectives can conduct their investigation,” LMPD spokesman Lamont Washington reported. “Detectives are trying to gather as much information as possible in order to identify all who were involved in the incident.”
Jefferson Square Park has been the scene of BLM protests over the police shooting of Breonna Taylor for weeks. Thus, it has been one of the centers of violence in the city.

Riots also broke out in Seattle and Portland where protesters smashed windows in local police stations and briefly clashed with police. No officers were reportedly injured.

The scamdemic needs to end and people need to go back to work.
If these BLM demonstrators were legit rather than anti social malcontents looking for an excuse to cause trouble. They’d be demanding prosecution for the killer cops and legislative and judicial changes to get the problem corrected so that it’s not recurring and the victims get justice.
Instead these idiots demand defunding the police and spending money in black communities. When the problem is killer cops who kill twice as many white people as black people, and the same percentage of white people per law enforcement incident as black people, who are involved in much higher per capita law enforcement incidents than white people. Usually at the complaint of black victims of black crime.

There are a lot of people walking around with weapons like machetes and baseball bats and wearing makeshift body armor. Some of whom are patrolling outside of the zone.

It looks like the population of the CHOP zone has bottomed out and a more militant element is entrenching itself there. Some of the expaned perimeter barries are gone. But the zone overall is as large or larger than it originally was.
I don’t think that some of these people are planning to leave voluntarily. And that the Mayor is misrepresenting the possibility that they’re going to.
