231 Civilians Killed In Terrorist Attack In Somalia’s Capital
On October 14, 231 civilians were killed, and 275 others were injured after two huge truck bombs targeted the Safari Hotel in the K5 intersection of Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, according to Somali sources.

Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo declared three days of national mourning in the aftermath of the bloody attack.

Somali Authorities believes that the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Shabaab group was behind the attack. However, al-Shabaab did not claim responsibility of the attack yet.

Previously, al-Shabaab conducted dozens of terrorist attacks against civilian and government targets in Magadishu city.

“They don’t care about the lives of Somali people, mothers, fathers and children … They have targeted the most populated area in Mogadishu, killing only civilians,” Somalia Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire said, according to the British newspaper Independent.

Lately, the US Army increased its drone strikes against al-Shabaab in Somalia. However, even this as well as anti-terrorist efforts of the African Union forces in Somalia, the terrorist group still controls large areas in the southern part of the city along with other radical islamist groups. The Al-Shabaab threat will likely remain as long the Somali conflict is left without a real solution.

Unionists are likely paying bribes or giving some kind of logistical support-like safe passageways. Headchoppers are not present in their territory…

The US should stay out of Africa forever, so should China and Russia and Europe and the ME. Just let the indigenous Africans decide their own future and how and when and where their different governments will be formed. It is no ones business but their own.
