3 Mini Buses Shot in Kharkov, Bombings, Shooting Leave 8 Dead, 25 Wounded in Iraq, ISIS Execute 12 Rival Militants in Syria, Illinois ‘Officer of the Year’ Accused of Raping Women

Unknown group of people opened fire on three mini buses in Kharkiv on Thursday’s evening. The first incident occurred on Chkalov Street in Kharkov, the other two happened in the city’s Saltivka residential area. There is unknown number of causalities. Kharkov police hasn’t found any suspects, yet. Apparently, it was a group of drunken pro-Kiev militants from one of Ukrainian patriot battalions as Azov or Tornado. So Kharkov citizens don’t wait any real investigation of the incident.

Security and medical officials in Iraq say at least eight people were killed and 25 others injured in five separate bomb explosions and a shooting incident in and around the capital, Baghdad, on Thursday. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks. However, Iraqi officials usually blame such assaults on the ISIS terrorists. The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq says a total of 1,031 Iraqis were killed and another 1,684 wounded in acts of terrorism, violence and armed conflict in May.

The ISIS extremists, in a video titled Repent Before You Are In Our Hands released on Thursday, claimed the murder of 12 captives near the Syrian capital, Damascus. The 12 rival militants were captured following fierce clashes in Eastern Ghouta on the outskirts of Damascus. Three of the men were identified as members of the foreign-sponsored terrorists group, Jaish al-Islam, which has been fighting Syrian government forces, and a fourth from al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front.

Months ago, Officer Jerad Gale, 31, of the Champaign Police Department in Illinois was named the force’s Officer of the Year. On Tuesday, he was arrested for sexual assault and domestic violence against two former girlfriends. Both of Gale’s alleged victims were fellow University of Illinois students at the time of the incidents, which occurred in 2012 and 2013. Jerad Gale was also accused of sexual assault in 2007, but charges were never filed against him in that case. The official aim of police is to protect American citizens from the criminals. Who will protect American citizens from the police is, still, unknown.
