- Greece to hold national referendum on debt deal – PM
“These proposals, which clearly violate the European rules and the basic rights to work, equality and dignity show that the purpose of some of the partners and institutions was not a viable agreement for all parties, but possibly the humiliation of an entire people,” Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said in a televised address to the nation, as cited by Reuters.
The referendum will be held on July 5, a few days past the June 30 deadline, Tsipras announced.

The French interior ministry is filing charges against the Uber ride-sharing service in France for its “cynical” and “arrogant” attitude, following a nation-wide clampdown on the UberPOP mobile app.
The government argues the app’s managers are breaking the law. On Friday, Interior Minister Bernard Cazaneuve derided the service for going against an earlier October 2014 law prohibiting people from connecting clients with unregistered drivers.

These semi-organized militia groups fighting on the side of Kiev have one thing in common — extreme nationalism. Some groups, like the Azov battalion and the Right Sector openly practice their neo-Nazi ideology, the newspaper said.

An attempt to defy isolation restrictions can now land the offender in jail for up to two years or lead to a fine of 20 million won ($18,000), the US broadcaster ABC cited the law as saying.
Under the new regulation, those lying about how they came in contact with the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) virus will also face a similar punishment, according to the US network.
