The Russian Ministry of Defense summed up the results of the military operations in Ukraine over the past week. From November 25 to December 2, Russian forces launched 27 combined attacks, including strikes with UAVs and missiles, on the military infrastructure across Ukraine. The targets included infrastructure of military airfields, warehouses and locations of the Ukrainian military.
During the week, Russian aviation and missile forces struck the fuel storage and parking of aviation equipment at the Ukrainian Mirgorod airfield in the Poltava region, as well as six P-18 radar stations in different regions.
In their turn, Russian air defense forces shot down one Mi-8 helicopter and 8 military aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, including five MiG-29, two Su-27, one Su-25. During the week, 188 Ukrainian drones, 41 HIMARS missiles were destroyed.
In the Kupyansk direction, units of the Russian West grouping of troops improved the position along the front in the area of Sinkovka and repelled 18 Ukrainain attacks. During the week, the Ukrainian army lost more than 315 servicemen killed and wounded, as well as two tanks, eight armored combat vehicles, 15 vehicles and seven field artillery guns.

In the Krasny Liman region, units of the Russian Center grouping of forces repelled 13 attacks by assault groups of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade, the 47th and 67th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The total losses of the AFU in this area amounted to more than 950 servicemen killed and wounded, seven armored combat vehicles and 21 motor vehicles.

In the Donetsk direction, units of the South grouping improved their positions along the front line and liberated the village of Artemovskoye located on the outskirts of Bakhmut. Over the past week, Russian forces repelled 17 Ukrainian attacks in this area. The AFU lpst more than 1,680 soldiers, six tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 31 vehicles and 19 field artillery guns.

In the Southern Donetsk direction, units of the East grouping repelled three Ukrainian attacks. The losses of the AFU amounted to over 880 servicemen, a tank, six armored combat vehicles, 20 vehicles and five field artillery guns.
In the Zaporozhye direction, Russian forces conducted an active defense, during which they repelled 14 Ukrainian attacks in the areas of Rabotino and Verbovoye in the Zaporozhye region. The losses of the AFU amounted to up to 315 servicemen, five tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, 21 vehicles and five field artillery guns.
In the Kherson region, the AFU again attempted to land assault groups on the islands and on the left bank of the Dnieper river. As a result of the pre-emptive actions of Russian troops and artillery fire, Ukrainian losses in this area amounted to 450 military personnel, 13 field artillery guns, 23 boats and 26 cars. Two Ukrainian reconnaissance groups were destroyed in the region. In addition, 14 Ukrainian servicemen were captured on the battlefield.

In total, since February 24, 2022, the Ministry has reported the destruction of 545 Ukrainian aircraft, 256 helicopters, 9.3 thousand drones, 13.7 thousand tanks and other armored vehicles, 1.1 thousand MLRS combat vehicles, 7.2 thousand field artillery and mortars and 15.8 thousand motor vehicles.

the losses in equipment are amazing and remind of the times of the wehrmacht. really unbelievable for at least 2 reasons. during the blitzkrieg the allies had more tanks and soldiers but did not concentrate their tanks as general guderian. he followed the strategy from his book achtung panzer from 1936 fcol. and the ardennes offensive shows that a tank attack without air superiority is useless (besides the fuel shortage at that time).
so the enduring attacks we saw during 2023 with each time a few tanks and limited manpower is used against the best organized, best equipped and most motivated army in the world. as we found out before there is a hidden agenda here.
