On Wednesday, Iraq’s Interior Ministry said that the country’s security forces killed at least 30 members of ISIS terrorist group in the provinces of Anbar and Diyala.
It is also reported that Iraqi security forces managed to capture a communication station belonging to ISIS terrorists in an area between the central cities of Ramadi and Samarra.
Since ISIS terror offensive began on June 2014, the northern and western parts of Iraq have been plagued by violence.
However, Iraqi army soldiers and fighters from Popular Mobilization Units are seeking to win back militant-held regions in joint operations.
