Nine people were killed and 22 others were injured on November 23, when an explosion rocked the Turkish-occupied town of Tell Abyad in northeast Syria.
Enab Baladi, a pro-opposition outlet, reported that the explosion, that took place in the town’s busy industrial zone, was caused by a booby-trapped vehicle.
“Death toll will likely rise as the intense explosion took place in an area crowded with civilians and industrial workshops, people stuck under ruins are being rescued and transported to hospitals,” a medical source in Tell Abyad told Enab Baladi.
According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), four of the nine fatalities were members of the same family.
As usual, the Turkish Ministry of National Defence held the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) responsible for the attack, without providing any evidence what so ever.
This was the third such bombing in Tell Abyad since it was occupied by the Turkish military and its Syrian proxies last month. The previous attacks claimed the lives of 24 civilians and militants.
Before you know it Kurds Grow Beards & start Chopping Heads….
“Turkish-occupied Tell Abyad”?!?!?! Turkey just gives artillery & drone support for free Syrian army. There is no Turkish foot on the ground there. Kindly check the news. Best Wishes.
