4 ISIS members were reportedly exectuted after they had attempted to flee the terrorist group’s positions in the Euphrates Valley, according to the Syrian media outlet Euphrates Post.
According to reports, ISIS is currently holding about 1.5-2km2 in the area and the pocket is even collapsing under pressure from the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the US-led coalition.
Maybe it was poor civilians.A real army trace and monitor few soldiers until their locate storage facilities and other terrorists.
Primitive behaviour. Whilst the ISIS members didn’t deserve any better, those who decided to kill them at will aren’t any better.
It would have been far more Democratic to have had a trial and then shoot them , surely? :)
More civilised, yes. It’s the difference between a civilised modern justice system, aka the Syrian Government and a lynch mob, aka Salafi goat herder mentality from the dark ages.

Well, they made a meteoric rise like Nazi Germany, like Nazi Germany they conquered (for a terrorist group) huge swaths of land in two countries and spread beyond, like Nazi Germany they engaged in war crimes and brutal treatment of their subjugated people, like Nazi Germany they committed genocide, like Nazi Germany they managed to piss off basically everybody, and like Nazi Germany they made a final stand in the last few square kilometers of territory left to them, killing their own who even dare to not go down in their final Götterdammerung stand.
I’m not a huge fan of historical analogies, as they are always wrong, but I find this case rather striking.
