It should be noted that on May 23 ISIS claimed that its members had attacked pro-government forces near the city of al-Mayadin in the province of Deir Ezzor. According to the ISIS version, 23 “Syrian and Russian” troops were killed, 5 others were captured.

Punish them by massive carpet bombings, then impale these Zio-Psychos.

christianblood

Exactly! Russia should completely annihilate this dangerous terrorist pocket in

Deir Ezzor. This is the same area where the U$ coalition bombed and killed 12 SAA personnel just a few days ago. No doubt, these terrorist pocket in Deir Ezzor is backed by the U$ invaders in the area.

potcracker2588

they cant.because thats not the orders they get from their jew masters.

FlorianGeyer

Yes, I would be certain that US Coalition intelligence and also advisers were complicit with the untimely demise of the Russian servicemen.

A response from Russia will I am sure be made at a time when in benefits the Russian strategic objectives. Such a response will be a greater memorial for those who perished doing their duty for mankind.

Jens Holm

And the americans and their puppets did shopping first ?

Jens Holm

You probatly are indoctrinated to Assad is commander of the Russian army and Russians dont have their own agenda.

You already might have forgotten that the Russians prefared to give Afrin to the Turks beacuase Afrins also would not dance as Damaskus demand.

USA has not supported ISIS since the late days on Hillary Clinton was stopped by Obama. Very slow mail where You are or di You mainly use the paper for Mukra smoking nor reading it first.

christianblood

To further its own satanic agenda, U$ still supports ISIS, Al-Nusra, FSA and a litany of other islamic jihadist groups in Syria.

Jens Holm

1001 arabic night of exused made by Yourself and believed by Yourself only. You ignore all facts.

MADE MAKER

DIED WHILE DOING THEIR JOB.. RIP RUSSIAN SOLDIERS

AJ

So Isis is hiding out in the Homs desert which is open terrain – you would think Russa could just carpet bomb the whole region. Its not like civilians are at risk.

Dr. Pro. Liv.

It takes intel for bombing …and “carpet bombing” is not exactly Russian style of doing things. It would take T-95 Beras (that are not in Syria but Russia) to do the “carpet bombing”. You think that ISIS would sit and wait that they come from Russia and not move around in the meantime? It would be American style waste of money and resources all that with bad result.

You can call me Al

Whatever amount of money is worth it, to stop heroes being killed.

Tudor Miron

We’re not there for carpet bombing. We’re there to restore peace and civil life in the state of Syria. Very sad that we’ve lost our men. It’s a special profession – to serve your Motherland.

Turbofan

Oh boy.. Is Mother Theresa related to you?

neil barron

What he is saying you don’t understand strategy idiot.

Turbofan

yeah yeah yeah..Do yourself a favor. stick to Breitbart News. No one need you vile hatred of Palestinians here..

J Pearlman

They found out those were the Russians who were helping Hillary try to frame Trump so she had them killed by ISIS. (Parody)

BMWA1

General McArthur had other ideas in Korea!

Icarus Tanović

I’d add large amounts of Napalm to top of that.

You can call me Al

Yep, good call.

BMWA1

They (ISIS) are probably usually living in the Al Tanf zone, food, H2O, supplies will come from there.

Dr. Pro. Liv.

not my strong point ….the Syrian geography

Jens Holm

You have no idea about whats out there and can be seen and found. You descriebe it as sitting ducs on a footballfield with no grass.

Many good maps shows different incl. google earth and the map of South Front ABOVE.

I use Michellain map finding the detailed map version named Outdoors. Fine for whats up and down in the Eufrat valley, where the skirmishes between SAA and SDF has up/down as the most vital issues.

I also thought it was well known ISIS were and are very good under terrain and by that still have many depots.

And the fleemarket SAAs actually took some importtant from ISIS a few days ago. All it not bad.

Tudor Miron

A la ger com a la guerre. RIP Heroes.

ruca

Как-то не понятно :)

Tudor Miron

На войне как на войне. Помнишь повесть Курочкина?

ruca

Нет я ничего не знаю об этом.

Tudor Miron

Хорошая книжка, я еще в СССР её читал.

ruca

Я общаюсь на русском языке, но читать книгу ещё сложнее.

Ronald

I thought they had some sort of drone base in Palmyra running, there are only so many water sources to observe. Drones are much less expensive than men.

Jens Holm

You can find many watersources in most deserts. Some are made collecting water like small dams. But the main thing is, if there is enough for growing things and animals like sheep and goats.

So smaller groups can be many places and if they drink, what there, You can go to another by local knowledge and maps.

Daniel Miller

why are they trying to train inbreed arabs? you cant the US has lost so many troops cuz of them dont do the same Russia.

Turbofan

This is a very clueless statement..

Daniel Miller

why? Am i wrong? Arabs are idiots whom will always be shit at war.

Ilies Bekhtaoui

arabs are shit at war because they act like animals with extremist ideas and i’m a arab . russia is dealing with syrians wich are more civilised and they are helping them with the rest . they can become a force to not mess with in the future

Jens Holm

You are wrong. Arabs are not united as assumed and many are their own kind even they have taken in the arab language as well as culturee(+religion).

Idiots or not …. :((

Jens Holm

There are arabs in almost all sides in this conflict. You are in the illusion, that one has patent on only one kind of arabisme.

Its hardly about etnicity at all. More about governess as well as more like poor people has uprised again Assads.

Joe Dirt

“Advisors”

Daniel Miller

well yes if they had been more they wold have said that.

Vince Dhimos

The US base is close to here and the terrorists are there ONLY because the US wants them there. There are 4 ISIS enclaves in Syria according to a Russian analyst, text here. Mayadin is the site of an oil deposit: http://www.newsilkstrategies.com/news–analysis/isis-is-not-done-yet-in-syria

Bill Wilson

Oil is worthless when you’re running out of food and water in the esert.

PZIVJ

That’s the question Bill. This ISIS group in E Homs desert does seem to be supplied. More than likely through the large refuge camp near Al Tanf, and probably some family members have all ready traveled there, I would think. Covert support.

Jens Holm

The “Tanf” refugee camp is neutral but has delivered some soldiers for the US version of FSA. Those camew from Eufrat/Raqqa and are enemies of ISIS as well as SAA.

Pure crap and You are told that many times during years. Bad memory – or worse. No wonder You kill each other, when You lie about each other like that all the time.

You dont think. And its not needed as well. Facts are USA(+partly britts) has the border control to Iraq and try to block 50 km radius. They only partly do.

Facts are Tanf has nothing to do with ISIS and US dont suppport ISIS here or making terror around the world.

PZIVJ

Perhaps you listen to too much MSM in Denmark Jens. If you chose to put your thinking cap on, how could this ISIS group even survive in desert area with just a few very small camps? And there where 1500 transported there from S Damascus! Do they live in caves? HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO A DESERT ??

Vince Dhimos

Some do indeed live in caves or man made tunnels, as stated in the translation I linked to above.

PZIVJ

I am surprised at the number of tunnels built in Syria. Hope that SAA will crush this ISIS pocket soon.

Jens Holm

I have been been in the deserts behind Sharja and Dubai, but all was sandhills there. Most parts of Syria is not like that at all.

I see facts. They are, that people like ISIS are clever and can hide in deserts and by that has surpriced many. They also are very mobile as infantery using fx sandstorms, rain, fog and darkness for protection.

I ignore Your words of conditions for people being there, for they are and has prepared for it under ground with food, ammo, extra weapons and like that.

And dont say few very small camps. We have seen so many of them being bigs, small ones and well camouflaged.

Bill Wilson

I’m sure that the professional soldiers that run ISIS had the sense to stash supplies and munitions out in that desert so those wouldn’t get destroyed while fighting to retain the towns/villages and to have on hand in case they had to withdraw into the desert. If they are acquiring additional supplies then those should be coming from nearby sources in SAA “controlled” areas where the general population could give a shit over who they do business with as long as they can make some money. The roads will be safer to travel and they’ll use less precious fuel per trip. I suspect Assad bused those ISIS folks from Yarmouk into that region to put a major strain on their supplies and available water resources, which it did and prompted this recent attack towards Mayadin.

Jens Holm

What a kind of crap to add in.

All has known for many months that there was a big desert area divided by partly controls of SDF, SAA and Iraqian.

You name 4, but You forget, there is no fence to same kind of areas in Iraq.

Your assumptions for USA is exact the opposit. USA has blocked there against free ISIS transport and by that also has helped SAA very much by delaying ISIS supply by the only main asphalt road.

You have no idea of, whats going on there at all.

Vince Dhimos

So why have Syrian troops been attacked by the US 3 times so far at Deir Ezzor? Your opinion? The Syrians were there to fight ISIS and the US kills them. Deir Ezzor is home to the Oman deposit, richest in Syria. All coincidence?

Jens Holm

Its easy. Its about SAA having the low ground well shown at the map. SDFs dont want them to reach the high grounds, which are easy to defend.

In the other hand SDFs would like to reduce the low ground ssen as a bridgehead.

I dont buy the 3 times attack as the whole picture. I also turn it around telling that the SAA left over affiliates at least 3 times has collected equipment for advancing uphill.

There has been many small skirmishes many times with 1 or 2 deads now and then.

SDFs has no use of the low farmland, but Eufrat itself is a good defence line. …………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Its not about Oman for any of them. If it was for Damaskus, they would try to put many troops in to take it right away. Oman also have no use for SDFs. They have for own use and a little more and cant export any of it.

The Oman and another small one is therefore of low value. Assads have other oil well to repair and improve oilproduction. Those are around Palmyra and west of Tabqa. Soon they are fine again apart from advanced oil, which they can pay by own crude oil. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Some also forget, that the Syrian oilproduction is old and even from ancient times, så wells told as empty are only empty because of old technology. Most of those can give 4-5-6 times more then they already have. Russians cant do that and in Russia hires BP and Shell for it.

Syria could do that. They would get a lot more in income even they have to pay well to the “foreigners”.

Icarus Tanović

Rip heroes.

Ma_Laoshi

Yes I know, according to the article ISIS paid a steep price for the attack as well. Nonetheless, nobody manages to put a scratch on say the al-Tanf base. Would suggest that there’s something the Americans just do better–surveillance? RIP indeed but dead heroes won’t win the war for you.

Turbofan

“Nonetheless, nobody manages to put a scratch on say the al-Tanf base” I disagree. ISIS and Americans are not enemies. As a matter of fact some of these ISIS terrorist may have been trained Al Tanf

Ma_Laoshi

I know that; I wasn’t talking about ISIS, I meant that none of the loyalists has managed to make the Americans pay a price for stealing and occupying al-Tanf. Of course, Russia doesn’t think in those terms.

Jens Holm

Its very expensive to block anything out there, but they do.

Russians are normal thinkers in those matter and dont lie for themselves and believe it too as You.

Let me remind You, that SAA until half a year ago was not even 100-150 km from there and by that ISIS could have taken in anything in soldiers and supply from Iraq, Jordan and Saudi-Arabia they wished helping them for Palmyra and the oilfields very well.

You by that for years could claim ownership, but ISIS and FSA posseded it. Thats what You have prefared – ISIS being stronger for Palmyra and the oilfields there.

Jens Holm

Thats veritical against all facts. Not even indications for it.

FSAs has trained in Al Tanf bordercrossing.

PZIVJ

Have you ever heard of a change in uniform. Perhaps you never change your clothes :D

Bill Wilson

There’s nothing out there worth fighting over. No water at all. al-Tanf is just a border crossing for a road going up into Syria.

Jens Holm

A road for 60 or 80 km pr hour is worth a lot compared to desert with 20 in trucks and 30-50 by technicals with supply.

There is water there as well. at the Syrian side. On a google map You even see an area with fields as well as a dam. How can You even write like that having fx google aerth right here ????????????????????????????? The aquare is he dam.

Ma_Laoshi

This is how it always goes: words like yours get spoken when a small group of orcs first shows up in your country. Then a short time later, it turns out you have a fortified, untouchable base on your hands with a self-proclaimed exclusion zone, which the Americans use to train, protect and re-equip all sorts of moderates which they can use to raise a little hell in a large surrounding area. “But… but… they cheated!”, the reaction is. Yes, they’re *trained* in incrementalism, deception etc; in other words, they know Sun Tzu as well and may understand him better–you let yourself be outsmarted, *again*.

Jens Holm

Americans do better surveillance, but thats often not enough. Its adding. They even try to steal from each othes drones and feet on the ground still are much more important, then many should think.

And Yes, I agree. We have to make plus for ISIS lost important persons and even veteran soldiers are important, because they almost dont get more from the outside.

Serious

Intel was given by Putin “westreners partners”.

Jens Holm

We do not know. Intelligence also often is a puzzle and make likely facts by using several of them.

JEinCA

Some Yankee and Zionist advisors should be killed in response.

Jens Holm

Like You kill beat Your wife because Your neigbors dont treat You right, whwn You are bad :)

Vince Dhimos

According to a Russian Middle East expert with ties to the R military, some US-UK advisers have in fact been killed in Russian air attacks in E. Ghouta: http://www.newsilkstrategies.com/news–analysis/a-real-h-o-t-war-with-russia-is-underway-right-now

Given that Deir Ezzor is home to Kurdish-American autonomy, we need more details about the perpetrators.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

“According to reports, there are about 1,500 ISIS members in the area” are they kidding. I would have thought 10 times the number was more accurate. The pocket at Hajin was reported to have 2000+ fighters but that’s been revised down to 1,500. The other large pocket that covers large areas of Al-Hasakah and Dier ez-Zor is supposed to have 5,000+ and the Yarmouk camp had between 1,200 and 1,700, that’s a grand total of 10,000 or less Isis fighters still left operating in Syria. A report I read the other day stated the US believes there are a maximum 15,000 Isis fighters still left fighting in both Syria and Iraq, which I roughly work out as 10,000 in Syria and 5,000 in Iraq, doesn’t sound like a hell of a lot of fighters to me, I would have honestly thought they had a lot more fighters than that left. They’re fighting the US, Kurds, Iraqi’s, Russia and the SAA with 15,000 fighters in 2 different countries and still managing to hang onto territory, I’m starting to wonder if God is really on their side, how they’ve managed to hold on for so long with so few a numbers is nothing short of a miracle. Lucky for me I don’t believe in miracles, I just recognize US complicity when I see it.

gustavo

It looks like much more air support is required in this area. I hope aerospace Russia force to give more support and protection to ground troops. All this area is just desert, you do have to worry about collateral damage.
