Four soldiers died and four others suffered injures in an explosion of improvised explosive device (IED) in Yüksekova district of the southeastern Turkish province of Hakkari on October 4.

The IED was reportedly detonated by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

“Four military personnel have been martyred and four military personnel have been injured on Oct. 4, 2017, after an improvised explosive device, planted by members of the separatist terror organization on the road, was detonated while a military vehicle was passing by in the Güvenli position of the Esendere town in our province’s Yüksekova district. The injured personnel’s treatment is continuing in the Yüksekova Public Hospital where they were dispatched to. The investigation regarding the incident is ongoing,” an office of the Hakkari Governor said in a statement.

I think that may have been a very big mistake; watch the retaliation.

Turkey now has a pretext to attack the kurds in Syria and Iraq

The main problem many have with terror groups like PKK and PJAK is that they mostly ambush and attack conscripts, low level civil servants or plain civilians.

Seriously, what great crime a conscript committed to warrant his death on your way for “freedom”?

The truth these groups is they have always been attacking the weaker civilians, govt workers and other Kurds and training exercises, these are the actions of terrorists and cowards. They think they can win by the same actions which has earned their hatred towards them. Just doesn’t work even the US is starting to not look upon them sympathetically anymore.
