4 U.S. special operations troops were wounded by an ISIS rocket in northern Syria earlier in June, Fox News reported on June 20, citing “a senior defense official“.
US special operations forces are serving alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) troops and should only provide targets for the US air power and “advice” to the local forces. However, the practice depicts that US troops manage the operations and engage in direct clashes with ISIS terrorists.
To date, the Pentagon says 16 U.S. troops have been wounded and 3 killed in operations against ISIS since the renewed deployment of U.S. military to Iraq in June 2014.
Only wounded? How come ISIS can hit and take out Syrian civilians everyday, but cannot defend their own state when a full on invasion force arrives from multi-racial-USSA? I don’t believe ISIS is trying very hard to defeat the Kurd’s or Mossad or SAS and CIA troops.
