On the evening of April 24, 2023, the mission of the Donetsk People’s Republic to the Joint Control and Coordination Center (DPR in the JCCC) announced the official data on the dead and wounded civilians since the military escalation in 2022. The number only include victims in the DPR.
According to the official information, since February 17, 2022 (during 431 days of escalation), the following cases were officially registered:
715 civilians, including 28 children, were killed in the territory within the borders of the DPR before the start of the Russian special military operation (SVO);
- 3,791 civilians, including 106 children, were killed in the territory of the DPR liberated during the SVO;
- In total: 4506 civilians, including 134 children were killed.
- 2664 civilians, including 185 children, were wounded on the territory of the DPR within the borders before the start of the SVO;
- 1,693 civilians, including 93 children, were injured in the territory liberated during the SVO.
- In total: 4,357 civilians, including 278 children were wounded.
- 112 civilians, including 10 children, were blown up by PFM-1 Petal mines. Three of the wounded died.
The following damage to civilian infrastructure was officially recorded on the territory of the DPR within the borders before the start of the SVO. Data on damage and destruction of residential buildings and civil infrastructure facilities in the territory liberated during the SVO cannot be established for certain at the moment:
- 10505 residential buildings;
- 2547 facilities of civil infrastructure, including 141 medical institutions, 523 educational institutions, 1013 social security facilities, 73 critical infrastructure facilities, 797 electric, water, heat and gas supply facilities;
- 1388 vehicles.
During the 431 days of the escalation:
- 17021 facts of firing were recorded,
- 16689 of them with the use of heavy weapons.
In total, the Kiev regime fired 107507 ammunition of various calibers, including:
- 41 missiles from the Tochka-U Missile Defense System,
- 271 missiles from Us-made “Himars” MLRS ,
- 26 BM-30 Smerch MLRS missiles,
- 258 missiles MLRS BM-27 “Hurricane “,
- 13935 rockets MLRS (122 mm),
- 26359 155 mm shells.
The acting head of the Republic Denis Pushilin clarified that more than 100 civilians were killed, more than 300 injured in the Donetsk People’s Republic since the beginning of the year as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
These are only the cases that have been officially recorded so far. The real number of victims is much higher and continues to grow.
These appalling figures are completely ignored by the so-called international community.

Before Russias help, the DPR and LPR put tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers in hospitals or morgues. With Russias help they now do so in the Hundreds of thousands and all weak and feeble ukraine can do is continue to murder civilians Soon you will run out of Ukrainian Soldiers, and they will dissolve Ukraine. Russia wins and ukraine is stamped out forever. Slava Rossiya!
Russia should have started the SMO much earlier to avoid all these casualties.
They should have fought a real war with millions of troops. Putins limited “war” is the reason these attacks are still happening.

This is sad af, it makes me angry to know my people have been killed like this. On the other hand, a lot of Nazi’s have been eliminated since 24 February 2022… Ukraine is loosing every single day, no counteroffensive will help them and they keep paying every single day with their blood.

This wouldn’t be happening if putin had Mobilized 2 million troops, tens if thousands of tanks and heavy guns and crushed Ukraine. Instead he chose a very limited war with mercenaries, volunteers and chechens that will take years.
