5 Turkish soldiers and 1 special forces officer have died in a bomb attack in the town of Nusaybin located in Turkey’s Mardin province.
According to reports Kurdish rebels had detonated the bomb remotely when security forces entered a home in the Kurdish-dominated town on the Syrian border
The security forces group was a part of the government’s forces which take part of Ankara’s ongoing operations “against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK)”.
Heavy clashes between the Turkish military and local Kirdush militias were observed in Nusaybin and other towns of South Turkey, recently.
