On Sunday, February 7, Al-Qaeda affiliated Syrian terrorist group Jabath An Nusra reported that their commander of military operations in the Kurdish Mountains of northeastern Latakia was killed after an intense battle with the Syrian Arab Army’s 103rd Brigade.
According to the report the terrorist commander was identified as Abdel-Aziz Al-Dibaykhi. Al-Dibaykhi was a Saudi national who was also known as Abu Hamza among terrorists.
However, some reports suggested that Al-Dibaykhi was a senior officer in Al-Qaeda before he entered the Syrian conflict.
