On April 5, Moscow revealed the number of civilians killed as a result of Ukrainian attacks in the first quarter of 2024.
According to Ambassador at Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik, from January 1 to March 31, 2024, 201 civilians died from attacks by Ukrainian nationalists on the territory of the Russian Federation. 721 more civilians were wounded. Thus, in three months, a total of 922 civilians in Russian regions suffered from the actions of Ukrainian nationalists.
Ukrainian militants are responsible for the deaths of 11 children. The youngest of the victims was only four months old. In total, 59 children suffered from Ukrainian attacks during this period.
According to the representative office of the Donetsk People’s Republic in the JCCC, the Armed Forces of Ukraine killed 99 civilians in the DPR in the first quarter of 2024.
The Russian diplomat summed up that in total, the AFU fired at least 22 thousand rounds of ammunition at civilian targets in Russia in the first quarter of this year alone. On average, this is almost 250 rounds per day or ten per hour, the diplomat added.

as much as the civilian losses are emphasized by both sides of this conflict, this conflict is actually the most law abiding war of at least the latest centuries – from both sides. the amount of civilian to military losses is astonishingly low – in the lower percentages. no war ever was so much “clean” regarding mercy towards civilian.
