About 200 US troops will remain in Syria even after the so-called full withdrawal of forces, according to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.
“A small peacekeeping group of about 200 will remain in Syria for period of time,” Sanders told CBS News.
However, the timeline of troops withdrawal remains unclear. Furthermore, the Trump administration has still not decided whether ISIS is defeated or no. In some of his statements, President Donald Trump declares ISIS defeated. In others, he vows to defeat it soon.
According to various sources, the US has about 2,000-2,500 troops deployed in Syria. These troops as well as an air support from the US-led coalition are a key factor allowing the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to conduct successful operations against ISIS, according to General Joseph Votel, commander of US Central Command. In his recent remarks on this situation, he openly declared that He also said that the SDF could not defeat the terror group without continued US assistance.
The US military force deployed in the country also allows Washington to project its influence on the ground. An example of this is the US military base in al-Tanf, which is located on a key highway between Syria’s Damascus and Iraq’s Baghdad. Therefore, US forces are blocking traffic between the countries.

I suppose the 200 US special forces peace keepers will be handing out peanut butter sandwiches, bagels and waffles in syrup to the needy, East of the Euphrates :)
US AID again.
Well, they all could have laser pen pinpointers for F16`s and 18`s in Iraq.
The FACT is that the Zionist owned Americunts have no intention of leaving either Syria or Iraq unless the resistance forces them out by imposing high costs and casualties. This 200 men scam is to assure the scared little NATO poodles who need to hide behind their masters.
The Coalition is not Nato. You confirm, You are a slow learner and concluder.
US peacekeeping group = pathetic, laughable.
“arsonist” – I think you meant.
But you can keep ………….. “arsenic = US aid to (insert Country)”.
yes, thanks bro :-)
As written before, I will rely on nothing by Trump unless its virtually is in my hand and has no paper around it.

I reckon that America’s definition of a full withdrawal is not the same as the rest of us.
So , Trump is a bald-faced liar.
I’m shocked ! Shocked , I say !!
The US won’t leave Syria until Iran either leaves Syria or agrees to leave Syria, and Iran won’t leave Syria until Turkey actually does leave [they won’t trust one of Erdogan’s promises], and the Arab league are also adamant that Erdogan must remove his forces from Syrian soil before they can reset their foreign relations clocks back to zero. So in reality Erdogan is the only one responsible for holding up the exit strategy, that everyone else has said they can and will abide by, and he’s also holding everyone else to ransom by doing so, the Syrians, Iranians, Russians, Arab league, Israelis, US, EU and China. So many commentators are saying that Trump/US is just lying as usual, but that’s because they fail to see the exit strategy as a finely working machine that relies on its many parts to function properly, you can’t engage the gears until the clutch is depressed, and in this scenario Erdogan is the clutch and the US is the transmission system and the Iranians are the wheels, until the clutch works as intended the rest can’t do a thing, that leaves Putin in the driver’s seat with Assad out the back pushing, but that’s because that damm clutch wont work, if it did work, Assad would get to sit in the front seat and drive, and Putin would be sitting in the passenger seat instead. What some people believe was a lie by Trump was not a lie at all, it was just part of an enticement to Iran that hinged on Turkish cooperation to work, and so far it’s failing thanks to Erdogan’s reluctance to pull his forces out of Syria. I’m sure that before Trump made his big announcement to the rest of us, he’d already gained assurances from both Iran and Turkey, that they’d also remove their forces from Syria if the US did first, but obviously since then, Erdogan’s backflipped on the deal [again], and left Trump with egg all over his face. So I can’t really call Trump a liar, I’m sure he’d just say to me, -‘but I only promised to do it if they did too, and Erdogan wont play ball now, which means the Iranians won’t either so I just can’t play ball by myself, but I’m making sure I can still pick up and play at a moments notice when Erdogan does want to play ball’-, that’s what I think he’d say to me, and I’d believe him too.
