Frigates are obsolete. US/UK used them in the 1700’s and 1800’s hunting pirates.

Now Russia brag again in public, manufacture them in a modern form, from wood to steel, but still to obsolete old rusten iron that we scrapped in the 1980’s and 1990’s.

We use Military SPACE Frigates with ultrasonic photonic lasers which can wipe out anybody in the universe within a blink of an eye, and we keep it professional secret classified.

Russia puts cruise and anti-ship missiles on corvettes, even smaller vessels, that are capable of destroying aircraft carriers. And they are the only country currently capable of doing so and you say such vessels are obsolete? Meanwhile, because of Russia’s corvettes and frigates, the US’s aircraft carriers would practically be confined to US territorial waters in a major conflict. So which are the vessels that are obsolete?

Here’s the latest pic of one of the US’s “SPACE Frigates” in action. Techmology. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/f9c3594f30fc67f16ed6c704af5b707a849de48ad0344ce0a38c2881c2150611.jpg

Hey, that’s a Japanese Space Frigate! :)

occupybacon

Lies! I can see it’s a pirate ship, from the Orion

occupybacon

Actually they could put the missiles on tug boats, why risk the rusty mamooths in the ocean when they can be nice supports for small colorful flags on holidays?

Wayne Nicholson

You’re talking about a tried and true naval tactic. The Royal navy was particularly known for this tactic. They’ve been doing it since the days of sail. They call them Q ships. In the early years of WW2 they would put one or two heavily armed merchant ships in a convoy to lure German submarines to attack then pound the shit out of them when they were on the surface.

Germany, japan and the USA all used armed merchant vessels to lure naval vessels to attack during WW2. When the shooting starts no one give a shit about how much your boat costs or how nice the paint is …. all that matter is who gets a round on target first. On the sea floor they all look the same.

occupybacon

I should have realized already that Kirov class battle cruisers are dummy floating targets and their oceanic tugboats are actually the Russia’s navy.

Please this pic is from the Japanese cartoon of captain Harlock drawn by the great artist Leiji Matsumoto, I used to watch it when I was a kid! Don’t insult it by calling US ship!

Tommy Jensen

No problem. We have also missile cruisers. This one her we call “Bulldog”.

It plows through the water with 80 SM/hr, with an integrated increased combat system element capability, aligned with FFG(X) super class I ships, with multi-mission capability to conduct air warfare, anti-submarine warfare, surface warfare, electronic warfare and information operations, and with 32 vertical launching system cells, erasing and deleting everybody and everything in air, land, sea within a radius of 100 km…………….LOL. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/7157c46a96dd3bf38f2bf6c45814ece17b5b7c55b6172d48ef87b99cf9ff4481.jpg

That’s a really cool picture. Here’s a list of US Navy warships: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_ships_of_the_United_States_Navy Which one is that a picture of? I can’t seem to find what class it is.

Tommy Jensen

I think its a concept design photo shopped by Lockheed.

Lone Ranger

Thats a guided missile cruiser. They call it a frigate only out of tradition. Take your meds…

occupybacon

It would sound more impressive: Heavy missile guided cruizer non carrier non Admiral Kuznetsov

Lone Ranger

Its not a dick measure contest… Better weapons win… In that case super and hypersonic cruise missiles…

occupybacon

Yeah, it’s not a dick measure contest, Russians want to make this clear for 20 years by electing Putin and Medvedev, Americans didn’t got the joke yet.

the CIA didn’t teach u the English language—the meth cleaning fluid in your trailer park explains your jabbering stupidity

Tommy Jensen

and you are not much Russian either. If you were you wouldnt claim to be so damn perfect in English……LOL.

Lone Ranger

What a beauty. Russia needs to tuild at least 40 of these.

Neo Onh

Yes 40 ! 15 is too few…

occupybacon

I can’t see it. I don’t know if that’s because is foggy or because it employs stealth technology.

Vitex

I can’t see a reason for any warship to be bigger in the modern milieu

cechas vodobenikov

we do not require this to comprehend that amerikans are incompetent, liars and only have influence with a few defenseless nations. not only is their military obese, incompetent and irrelevant, their weapons are inferior….more significantly nobody trusts them or wishes to trade with amerikans. this is demonstrated by the formation of numerous trade alliances that exclude the USA—BRICS, Asean, Mercusor, EU—-while Japan, China, Korea, Russia all trade, increasingly nobody buys incompetent US products, inferior overpriced gas…of course since the US produces nearly noting except tasteless hamburgers they must purchase everything with their fake dollars, rapidly losing value from Asia, Africa, Europe, etc—even amerikans now prefer automobiles from Europe and Asia—will their world class obesity and donuts save them from moral and economic decay? so shallow they hardly know their own language, these veritable robots r now observed copulating with mobile phones—-submissive machines require a police state dictatorship—Wolin’s “inverted totalitarianism” where they believe money is culture and feeling is marijuana and anti-depressants

Tommy Jensen

good one.
