On January 4, a suicide bomber blew himself up near a crowd of civilian protestors in the Banaee area in the Afghan capital, Kabul, according to the Afghan Tolo TV. The Ministry of Public Health and Kabul Police confirmed that fifteen policemen and civilians were killed and twenty other people were injured in the attack.
