nice fireworks, but obviousely no hit. Where was the intercepted rocket? Could the sound of it be heard? or was this just a show to bolster own troops moral?
They have been used it many times and are useless vs fast and small Katyushka rockets.
WTF? Why is this so hard to see for you guys? Something is hit in the first second of the video, lights up (I presume it’s burning) disappears a fraction of a second later moving to the right of the strike point.
You’re not going to hear *anything* near a 20mm rotary cannon in continuous burst mode except that weapon or its 20mm HEIT-SD (high-explosive incendiary tracer, self-destruct) ammunition blowing up.
I don’t even know what to say about the ‘bolstering own troops moral’ remark. FFS, there’s incoming rockets – anyone would be scared shitless. R2D2 finally got one? Big f’king deal – that’s one less to kill you. Hardly an occasion to dance around your position squealing with delight. Let’s see how R2D2 does with its drooping, smoking red-hot barrels trying to spray down the next three rockets coming from three different directions.

I don’t see any explosion of intercepted rocket neither. Does anybody know what is the price of the C-RAM burst?
To be fair, it is usually hard to see interceptions from ground footage. As for the cost, it’s a lot cheaper than a missile like the Iron Dome uses. If it protects something more expensive from being hit then it’s always worth it.
Not much, it’s ground version of “Vulcan”. But it fires hundreds of shells to intercept one object like any other such multi-barrel artillery with very high rate of fire (few thousand shells per minute). Still much cheaper than a missile.

Not C-RAM, but it shows interception in day time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7ssNPxyHp8
A Vulcan burst costs about $3000 ZOGbux per second in ammo, I reckon C-RAM is prolly close to that…. In comparison, Iron Dome costs $40,000 ZOGbux per missile.
C RAM ammo cost (The unit cost per shell will be similar to that of the guided fuze unit, about US$5000)
How much are those rockets? That is if it hit any of them.
Yes it was just a test of the CRAM system, the resistance could easily neutralize it with an ATGM and then shoot the rockets, they just needed to locate where it was near the base
LOL
Cool, R2D2 in action…
temporary measure only from the yankee-twats’ side – keep up the attacks with more and better missiles and the yankee-twats will opt out and go home to mom and apple pie, unemployment and obesity and low grade housing (trailer camps) and no healthcare and an ever inviting prison-system.
A very expensive test of Phalanx against Tomahawk cruise missiles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHoQJqJ0xHo
They intercepted that UFO from previous article :D
ahhaahahhaahhaha
Bullshit. This is fireworks for masses. They haven’t intercepted shit.
