Several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s operations against Kiev forces from February 4 and previous days have surfaced online.
The elite Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies “Rubicon” shared ten videos of a series of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including other drones, across several directions within the special military operation zone.
Two more videos that emerged online show strikes with Lancet loitering munitions that destroyed a British-made Raven short-range air defense system, and a Soviet-made Buk-M1 medium-range air defense system of Kiev forces in Zaporozhye and another unspecified region.
An additional video shows what was described as a combined missile and drone strike on a drone launch site near the settlement of Sutiski in Sumy. The strike took place as Kiev forces were preparing to launch a number of long-range, fixed-wing suicide drones.
Another video shows another missile and drone strike on a large gathering of Kiev forces near the settlement of Yurchenkovo in Kharkiv.
An American-made M142 HIMARS multiple rocket launch system was spotted in the gathering. The strike destroyed the system along with 14 other vehicles and a command post. At least 45 Ukrainian troops were reportedly killed or wounded in the strike.
In its daily briefing, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that recent missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “fuel and power infrastructure that supported the defense industry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), storage and launch points of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles as well as temporary deployment areas of the AFU and foreign mercenaries in 153 districts” over the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defense systems shot down eight guided aerial bombs, 22 HIMARS projectiles, two Neptune cruise missiles, and 139 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 112,215 drones, 649 air defense systems, 27,484 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,658 multiple rocket launchers, 33,050 artillery pieces, and 53,641 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
