In a violation of the ceasefire agreement, the al-Qaeda-affiliated “Wa Harid al-Muminin” operations room announced on September 19 that its militants had shelled Syrian Arab Army (SAA) gatherings in northwestern Hama.
“Thanks to God, gatherings of the Nusayria army [Jihadists term for the SAA] on the axis of al-Mashari’a – al-Ghab Plains were targeted with 82mm mortars, achieving direct hits,” the operations room said in a short press release.
The Wa Harid al-Muminin operations room was formed last October by al-Qaeda-affiliated Jamat Ansar al-Islam, Horas al-Din, Jabhat Ansar al-Islam and Ansar al-Tawhid.
A few hours earlier, unknown militants shelled the Abu Duhur humanitarian corridor in Idlib’s southeastern countryside in order to prevent civilians from leaving Greater Idlib.
The repeated violations indicate that the militias in Greater Idlib are planning to step up their attacks, taking advantage of the ceasefire. This could force the SAA to resume its military operations in the region soon.
What a wonderful and intelligent Russia-Turkey agreements…..so nice for the terrorists and Turkey, so bad for SAA and civilians.
Yes you stupid idiots, keep on doing that, and you’ll get smacked.
