Originally appeared at ZeroHedge

Just ahead of the 19th anniversary commemorating the tragic events of September 11, 2001 when America came under attack, the anti-interventionist thinktank The Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft has featured a study detailing the millions of people displaced across the globe by US foreign combat operations in the wake of 9/11.

“The wars the U.S. government has fought since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, have forced 37 million people — and perhaps as many as 59 million — from their homes, according to a newly released report from American University and Brown University’s Costs of War Project,” the report introduces.

It’s being called “the first calculation of its kind” given neither the Pentagon, nor State Department or any other federal agency has kept track of the mass displacements.

Wasn’t Somalia issue in early 90s?

Jens Holm

I would say the southern part still is. It has one of the largest refugee camps in the world.

cechas vodobenikov

USA funds the Ethiopian military 100$ million per year to occupy part of Somalia

verner

all these 59 million being a threat to the national security of the disunited states of A. truly remarkable what the yankee-twats meddling in other nations well-being cause. and then there is the jews in palestine who steal and kill for the same reason and are executing a slow genocide on the palestinians and the world is mum.

Lone Ranger

And killed around 5+million.

Icarus Tanović

Are you positive on that?

Lone Ranger

Yes. Afghanistan, Iraq, Lybia, Syria, African countries, South American countries, Ukraine…

Icarus Tanović

I really don’t know, but maybe death toll may be higher. What do you think? Iraq is leveled to say the least.

Lone Ranger

Vietnam is a good example but also WWII. Compare the initial casulty reports to present day stats. WWII started out with 40million casulties. Now its at 75million. Vietnam started out with 600,000, now officially its over 2million. But according to the Vietnamese govt the total number is more close to 8mill, especially if we count in Laos and Cambodia.

Icarus Tanović

Pol pot was American CIA guy. Vietnam liberated Cambodia, freed people from that slavery. And above all Vietnam said to America: ‘We don’t fear you.’

Lone Ranger

True. But U.S. bombed Cambodia even before Pol Pot.

Icarus Tanović

Only bordering zones with Vietnam because that was route for military equipment for Vietcong.

Lone Ranger

Winning hearts and minds… One piece at a time… Crumbling U.S. Empire in a nutshell…

Israhell rejoices, millions of goyim are sacrificed to his false god, and expects his Yankee golem to offer him human sacrifices to an even greater extent in the near future.

Thats how Johnny Rotten became clever. They pay him as book keeper:)

Jens Holm

As usual all those countries until then lived in peace and harmony. Even the men all was sitting on their hands, so their wife had to serve the tea into their mouths with a spoon.

US has their part of it, but putting that into 37 to 50 millions is worse then biased.

If the locals decide that little, they should be no states. Maybee thats whats wrong. It emirates and tribes based on half of the population decide nothing and most things decided are by ol men by tradition looking back locing to live in the past.

I see 1001 excuses.

It of course also is ignored, what happend before 9.11. The glass for USA was more then full. I dont agree in parts of that and also would have prefared better solutions, but I also see provocations both ways.

cechas vodobenikov

u stupid despicable idiot—apparently Danes so stupid they don’t learn arithmatic

Jens Holm

Maybee we are brighter then You, We dont need aritmatic for that.

Porc Halal

“ I see 1001 excuses“…I like that!…any particular reason you picked that number??…:))))))

Jens Holm

I also wonderof some arab invented the 0 to descriebe someone like me;)

Later on they found out, the 0 can be a very strong number as well…
