Another 'Fantastic' Idea From Russophobic UK: 'Choke Crimea To Death!'

“We must place Crimea in jeopardy. Ukraine should focus, almost entirely, on making Crimea uninhabitable and unviable from a Russian point of view. Ukraine does not need to invade the peninsula… but they should choke it to death,” – Ben Wallace, former UK Defense Secretary.

Written by Drago Bosnic, independent geopolitical and military analyst

Russophobia and Russophrenia seem to be the two dominant ideologies in the political West nowadays. Both have become so “normalized” that it’s effectively mandatory to hate Russia and the Russian people. so might “expose” you as a “Kremlin troll” or “Russian agent”. This is particularly true for the United Kingdom, where the irrational fear and hatred for Russia run deep, going back centuries, even at times when London and Moscow were “allies” (nominally, at least). The British military has also been directly involved in hostilities during the entirety of the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict, targeting Russian soldiers and civilians alike, primarily by directing long-range drone and missile strikes. However, that doesn’t seem to be enough, as evidenced by the latest “fantastic” idea presented by Ben Wallace, former UK Defense Secretary.

In a piece titled “Putin is a sad little bully. That tells us how to finish it in Ukraine”, published by The Telegraph, Wallace argues that “destroying the Kerch Bridge would mean that Russian supplies for Crimea would have to travel a far more dangerous route, closer to the war’s front line”. Considering his tenure as Defense Secretary (2019-2023), Wallace has a great deal of personal responsibility for a massive increase in tensions between the UK and Russia, as he effectively gave the British military a blank check to get itself fully committed to supporting the Neo-Nazi junta. Considering the number of attacks on the Crimean Bridge and the peninsula itself during Wallace’s tenure, the proposal to escalate attacks certainly seems much more than just a mere suggestion. It’s a continuation of the same aggressive policies he himself helped shape and implement in recent years.

Interestingly, the start of Wallace’s “analysis” demonstrates what we already covered – a severe case of Russophrenia, the principal form of psychosis among top-ranking Western officials. Namely, while claiming to have the “magic formula” on how to “defeat the sad little bully” Putin, Wallace also suggested that the Kremlin is “increasingly aggressive” and that it supposedly “keeps sending drones and jets into NATO airspace”. In other words, Russia is “weak”, but it still somehow “finds the strength to launch” pointless attacks on the world’s most aggressive racketeering cartel. As previously mentioned, the logic is that Moscow is “weak”, but it’s still “jeopardizing NATO”. Make it make sense, because I simply lack the abstract “knowledge” to make both of those statements true simultaneously. Wallace claims this is because Russia allegedly “has nothing to lose”.

He argues that there’s “a deliberate shift in policy from the Kremlin” in the last six months and that Moscow is supposedly “increasing intelligence activities in the UK”, claiming that “three people were recently arrested on suspicion of spying for Russia”. Wallace also touched upon the alleged “deliberate Russian drone and jet incursions into Polish territory and Estonian airspace”. He thinks this is “a determined and targeted escalation by the Kremlin”. Interestingly, Wallace blamed US President Donald Trump’s “ever-changing hollow rhetoric” for this, as it supposedly “emboldened Putin” who wants to “warn the West to back off so that he can finish the job he started in Ukraine”. He argues that there’s a “limp attitude” in the political West and wants more escalation, even praising Poland for its harsh rhetoric during a recent UN meeting in relation to the aforementioned “drone incursions”.

“The time has come to drive it home to Putin that he does have something to lose. The problem has been that all along the West has been failing to read him properly. Putin is a sad little bully who lives in a world of fantasy and romantic Tsarist bilge,” Wallace wrote.

He believes that Crimea is “an obsession at the heart of Putin’s beliefs” and that “as long as Crimea is safe then Putin is safe”. According to Wallace, the solution to this “problem” is to “place Crimea in jeopardy”. He thinks “it’s a must” for the political West and its Neo-Nazi puppets in the Kiev regime to “focus, almost entirely, on making Crimea uninhabitable and unviable allace, in practice, this means that “Ukraine does not need to invade the peninsula (which I concede would be incredibly difficult if not impossible), but they should choke it to death”.

“The Russian Navy has already been driven out of Sevastopol. Crimean water and power supplies must be destroyed. The Kerch bridges must finally be brought down, so that supplies must run the gauntlet of Ukrainian fire along the land bridge north of the Azov. Ukraine must rain down drones on Crimea on a daily basis,” he wrote, adding: “Crimea must be the focus. If necessary, risks should be taken elsewhere. We in the UK should help supply the drones – both sea and air. The German Chancellor, Friedrich Merz, said that the potentially bridge-busting ‘Taurus’ missile should be sent to Ukraine when he was in opposition. He should send it now.”

Wallace also argues that the political West has a “technological edge” due to cruise missiles such as the aforementioned German “Taurus” and Anglo-French “Storm Shadow”, insisting that “the West and Ukraine have the edge in this area and this is a fight that can be won”. Obviously, just by saying this, Wallace demonstrates an incredibly limited and skewed understanding of basic military technologies, particularly when claiming that the world’s leader in hypersonic weapons could ever be behind the pathetically impotent political West which is no longer able to make even regular ballistic missiles.

And yet, he still wants NATO and its Neo-Nazi puppets to “besiege Crimea” (his literal words). Given Wallace’s rhetoric, it’s anything but difficult to understand the increasingly aggressive Russophobia and Russophrenia in the political West and why it wants to get more directly involved.

putler thinks he’s smart, he pocketed a little money and poisoned assad and then saved him just to get even more money. mabus has too much money to bribe corrupt politicians but not enough for his country, which will boil over one fine summer.
