On January 14, Syrian Army units conducted a series of strikes on militant positiosn near the town ofHasraya in the northern Hama countryside, the news agency SANA reported. According to the report, the strikes caused casualties among militants and damage to their weapons and equipment.
The SANA added that the army repelled a militant infiltration attempt from the direction of al-Latamina, killing and injuring a number of their militants.
In the first half of January, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) established control of a major part of the Idlib de-militarized zone thus escalating the situation in northwestern Syria. The increased violations of the ceasefire regime in the area are linked to this development.
Instead of free elections with the Assad government, in Idlib Israel and the US have imposed the sharia of Al Qaeda and ISIS, with public beheadings every Saturday.
Now and then I see Assads as intruders of Syria.
No invasion of HTS territory by the SAA today, it must be tomorrow they start to fry them.
