On November 15, Ukrainian MP posted a video on social networks, claiming that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) again suffered heavy losses as a result of Russian precision strike on Ukrainian manpower in the village of Dmitrovo in the Zaporozhie region.
While the first attack disrupted the awarding ceremony of the 128th brigade of the AFU on November 3, the second attack targeted the headquarters of another Ukrainian brigade in the same village. As a result, a crowd of servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine was destroyed by a missile strikes. The Ukrainian deputy confirmed that this was another ‘tragedy’, citing his sources in the Ukrainian military deployed in the area. He also blamed Ukrainian commanders, who ignored security measures.
In its daily briefing, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the control point of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Dimitrovo.
On November 16, Russian military sources shared footage of the strike coordinated by a reconnaissance drone:
According to the analysis by LostArmor, based on open sources, the total number of Ukrainian officers killed since February 2022, reached 2,736 officers. On the first week of November alone, deaths of 33 officers more were confirmed. This was likely largely due to the first Russian strike in Dimitrovo. Since November 5, 53 deaths more were confirmed, including at least one foreigner.
