On November 4, Armenian forces repelled two attacks carried out by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on the district of Berdzor, in the southern part of the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
According to the Armenian Unified Infocenter, the first attack, that started around 10:30 AM local time, was quickly repelled. Armenian forces destroyed three Azerbaijani battle tanks in the clashes, which took place southeast of Bredzor.
Azerbaijani forces launched a second attack at around 12:55 AM. The attack was again repelled by Armenian forces, which destroyed two battle tanks and two infantry fighting vehicles.
“Fighting is currently ongoing in this part of the frontline,” the Armenian Unified Infocenter said in a statement, adding that “the Artsakh Defense Army is in full control of the tactical situation.”
Earlier, the Artsakh Defense Army released a video showing the remains of several Azerbaijani drones and loitering munitions, which were recently shot down over Nagorno-Karabakh.
Armenian forces claim that they have destroyed 252 drones, 16 helicopters, 25 warplanes, 697 armored vehicles, 6 heavy rocket launchers and neutralized 7,155 personnel since the outbreak of the battle in Nagorno-Karabakh on September 27.
Armenian forces are also sustaining heavy losses in Nagorno-Karabakh. However, they are holding their remaining positions in the region.
Just one sugestion to armenia if I may…
Go fucking hire a PMC and you will win this war in les then a month…how much expensive can be?!…
Didn’t they recently join some international contract in order to vow never to hire any PMCs? I thought I’d heard about that…
But AZ has already hired some, namely the syrian jihadist mercs, right ?!…I know they look like amateurs but still, they are PMC…
what is PMC?
Private Military Contractor, fancy name for a mercenary.
Expensive enough for Armenia, not to afford. If Armenians don’t want to fight there, doubt mercs will be motivated enough
I am pretty sure they can find a way if they really want to…
They currently are. 600$ (alleged amount paid for Kurdish mercs, if its true) is three times higher than average salary for any fairly educated Armenian male in the country. Otherwise how do you think a 3million country is keeping a 60000 active troops. Many stay after conscription on contract basis. Which basically is a legal name of being a merc.
Come on, cut the shit…AZ are using mainly islamist mercs against the army of Artsakh and very few of their regular troops…
Which would be a very smart move. Why risk your own soldiers when you can have other to risk their life’s. In a life span of any Azerbaijani soldier the amount of money spent by the government on education healthcare and other public services I am sure is higher than 2-4k$. So if it is true, then kudos, smart people they are.
You can’t run a watermill by carrying water..:)))
