The Syrian observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) revealed that the SAA killed 18 fighters of ISIS and lost 8 soldiers during the clashes south of the T2 station.

Moreover, warplanes of the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) destroyed a convoy of ISIS, which was attempting to withdraw from the pocket towards the terrorist group’s positions north of the T2 station, according to Syrian pro-government activists.

From its side, the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq announced that ISIS fighters ambushed a convoy of the SAA east of the T3 station in the eastern Homs countryside. ISIS fighters destroyed a truck and a battle tank of the SAA with IEDs and ATGMs.

In the last two months, ISIS stepped up its attacks against the SAA in the governorates of Homs, Deir Ezzor and al-Suwayda. In response to this, the SAA and its allies launched a series of security operations against the remaining cells of the terrorist group there. However, little have been done so far.
