The Syrain Arab Army (SAA) has received another batch of equipment from militants, that have accepted a surrender agreement in the southern province of Daraa.
According to the state-run media, militants in the settlements of Mzerib and Yadoudah have handed over 7 battle tanks, 3 armoured vehicles and some number of ammunition to the SAA.
Militants in the province of Daraa accepted a surrender agrement earlier in July and since then have handed over dozens of battle tanks and other heavy military equipment to the SAA. This fact shows that even having resources to combat pro-government forces, militant groups have no combat morale to face the advancing SAA troops and their allies.
Currently, the ISIS-linked group operating east of the Golan Heights is the main military target of the SAA in the region. As soon as it’s defeated, the Syrian-Russian-Irainan alliance will likely start working to clear from militants the provine of Idlib.
