The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) uncovered loads of weapons and military equipment, some of which had been supplied to militants by Israel, during a recent search operation in the country’s southern region, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported on September 25.
“While combing what is left of the areas where the army restored peace and stability [in the southern region], the authorities uncovered quantities of weapons, ammunition, shells and Motorola communication systems made by the Israeli enemy,” a military source told the state-run agency.
The weapons included at least 60 Grad 122mm rockets, dozens of tank rounds, heavy machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades and load of ammunition of different calibers.
The SAA also found an Israeli-registered vehicle that was reportedly supplied to armed groups, which controlled large parts of the southern region up until mid-2018.
In the last few months, the SAA’s intensified its operations in the southern region in order counter the growing influence of ISIS and other terrorist groups.

Hopefully, the SAA can use these weapons when they retake Golan Heights and other Israeli occupied territory. All that stuff must be worth hundreds of thousands of shekels and now it’s in Syrian hands. Thanks Israel ?
Idk, never heard they used war bounty before. Maybe they could use it, or they might prefer not to.
you dream, Syria can not even re-take Idlib.
Pardon my ignorance, what’s in all those large spam cans?
Normally water tight packed ammunition for AKs etc.
catering packs of spam/tuna and sardines, the different colours indicate the contents, the device in the plastic case in the picture below them is what is used to open them ;)
What a coincidence. I also found some grad rockets the other day, when I was out plowing the back lot. What should I do with them? It’s to expensive to ship them to the SAA. :)
