On April 21, about 160 people (the number differs depending on sources) were killed and over 400 were injured in a series of terrorist attacks across Sri Lanka.
Six coordinated explosions hit the following targets: St. Anthony’s Church in Colombo, St. Sebastian’s Church in Negombo, the Zion Church in Batticaloa as well as the Shangri-La, Cinnamon Grand and Kingsbury five-star hotels.

The Chinese are building an artificial island just off Colombo. Colombo is one of the so called “String of Pearls”, a network of ports that China has invested in along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, which stretches from Hong Kong to Sudan and, rather significantly, skips India.
News agency Agence France-Presse (AFP) was shown Sri Lankan police documents that claim “A foreign intelligence agency has reported that the NTJ (National Thowheeth Jama’ath) is planning to carry out suicide attacks targeting prominent churches as well as the Indian high commission in Colombo.” Apparently “NTJ is a radical Muslim group in Sri Lanka that was linked last year to the vandalization of Buddhist statues.”
Muslims have never had any grievances in Sri Lanka before as they were always treated respectfully. The NTJ sounds like a pseudo-gang. One has to wonder which foreign intelligence agency reported this NTJ involvement: CIA, Mossad, or India’s Research and Analysis Wing? The mention of the Indian high commission is so specific it raises suspicion that it may have been included precisely to deflect attention away from Indian involvement.
