On October 12, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Ten of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Two other videos show artillery and rocket strikes that targeted Ukrainian positions in the settlement of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk direction and in an unspecified area in the Kharkiv direction.
Two more videos show airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that hit positions and gatherings of Kiev forces near the settlement of Privolnoye in the direction of Dnipropetrovsk and in Konstantinovka. The bomb used in the strike on the latter was a FAB-3000.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “fuel and power infrastructure that provides work to the Ukrainian defence industry enterprises, as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 137 areas” over the past 24 hours.
It added that Russian air defenses shot down nine HIMARS rockets, one Neptune cruise missile, and 72 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 89, drones, 631 air defense systems, 25,472 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,598 multiple rocket launchers, 30,381 artillery pieces, and 43,755 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
