Assad Meets Venezuela’s Foreign Minister, Says Venezuela And Syria Are Facing Similar Attacks

Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad received on April 4 a high-level Venezuelan delegation headed by the country’s Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said that al-Assad was briefed on the latest developments in Venezuela by Arreaza. The Syrian leader also expressed confidence that Venezuela will overcome the crisis and restore the state of stability soon.

“What is going on in Venezuela is similar to what happened in Syria and that aims at imposing hegemony on states and controlling their independent decision, which undermines the international law and contradicts the most important principles of the U.N. Charter i.e. the respect of states’ sovereignty and right of self-determination,” al-Assad said during the meeting, according to the SANA.

From his side, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister thanked President Assad for his supportive stance to Venezuela and stressed that the tools and steps used by the states, which are enemies of Venezuela, are similar to those used in Syria for igniting war in it.

“The states that worked on stirring the situation in Venezuela misjudged the Venezuelan people, who have shown ability for resisting and defending their country as well as preserving its security and stability in the face of all foreign schemes plotted against it,” the SANA quoted Arreaza as saying.

Following the meeting with the Syrian President, Arreaza met with his Syrian counterpart Walid Muallem. The SANA said that the two sides discussed the historic relations between Syria and Venezuela and means to enhance them in all fields to serve the interests of the two people.

The visit of Venezuelan officials to Damascus is a unusual event. However, Caracas has been standing with the Syria government since the very first day of the crisis. Observers believe that Damascus’ experience is another reason why the Maduro government is so fierce in resisting the US pressure.

If all the countries the US is/has sanctioned agreed to use the Chinese CIPS payment system, the free world could strike a major blow against the evil empire. Quite a few of Americas victims are oil producers and if they all agreed to sell in Yuan/gold they could blow the OPEC cartel out of the game, and destroy the money source that America uses to kill innocent people. A 12 month program of selling oil at US$40, in Yuan Euros or Yen would destroy OPEC and its American master.

Asad must stay

The US needs to mind it’s own business with Syria and Venezuela. So does Israel. Israel wants Assad out. That’s why it was helping ISIS.
