Syria became a testing ground for the US as it testing various tools to safeguard global hegemony, President Bashar Assad told RT in an interview.
Assad said that the US would “fight the Russians, the Iranians, the Syrians, whoever said ‘No’. Even their allies if they said ‘No’. Like the Western governments, they will fight with them”.
“Al-Qaeda is a proxy against the Syrian government, against the Russian government and the Iranian government,” Assad continued. “How did ISIS rise suddenly in 2014?! Out of nowhere! Out of nothing! In Iraq and Syria at the same time, with American armaments?! It’s very clear.”

Most of them is better, because they are dead ?
You seemes to have not a single country or region, which is better then the Western Economic hegemony.
I see some build ups like China and India only. I see none in ME.
That is because the West has been Destroying the Middle East for at least a Century (forget the Crusades for a second)…you know nothing of the Middle East & Muslims….When your Ancestors were still walking around in Pigskins & carrying stone Axes…the Middle East had beautiful Cultures with fine Arts that respected & lived in Peace with other Religions
We know. Russia should be busy with the production of S-400, the rest of the world will need them. Better paying taxes to S-400 than to a gangster syndicate.
It’s both exciting and terrifying that the PTB are beginning to come out from behind the curtain, so to speak, showing the world their true natures. Btw, love your moments of clarity! It’s also exciting to realize that in just under 2 months we begin a new decade. I’m ever so grateful we have a vital, strong and fluid/dynamic (like Tao Te Chang speaks to, vs stagnant, rigid, stuck in a specific ideology) Russia. I shudder to think what this world would be like if it were the opposite. Starting listening to the audiobook of Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche’s ‘Joy of Living’. Need to get after that self-development, work on my inner well-being. Can you rec’d any good books on the subject which have inspired you?
9/11 did it for the US to lose its hegemony.
When you know the Mossad did it, you know that there is now no more “america” but only a ZioNazi-fascist regime, that got inspired from Hitler when he burnt his own parliement to attack Poland. Welcome to Fascist-Burgerland.
He burnt his own parliament to blame communist party, internal struggle for political dominance. German special forces with polish uniform attacked german border guards creating reason for invasion.
Arrh gylp there we go again.
They are not “ready” they have been doing so for decades, where have you been?
Bashar Assad you conveniently forgot about Qaddafi before you, he warned but nobody listened, Iraq then Libya, the stepping stones required to Syria.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6syr1tjbgA Watch how smug you looked in this video thinking that you were safe because you tortured some people for the CIA Extraordinary rendition program in 2001. Bet you are laughing on the other side of your face now.
Most Americans know this and are onboard with taking what is yours by any means. Fight back or give in is the only choice we give you, it is nearing a time when there will only be those that give in, the window is closing and some think the U.S. Is losing, your wrong.
Of course ‘most’ of my fellow Americans are on board. They fantasize that ‘take what is yours’ somehow applies to them. It doesn’t – it only applies to the US government as potential possessor of said booty. The little people don’t understand that “…by any means” ALSO applies to dissenting US citizens in the US. Nobody gets between the US government and it’s loot. Even the dim ones will finally figure this out when they are behind the razor-wire fence of their Department of Homeland Security Internment Camp. “Stop resisting, citizen!”

Isis was created by the West.
1. US invaded Iraq. 2. US creates puppet government in Iraq 3. US has Iraqi government buy over $100 billion in American weapons. 4. US rebuilds Iraqi army under their direct command and control. 5. US builds breakaway Iraqi Kurdish army under their direct command and control. Breakaway Iraqi Kurdish army renounces authority of Iraqi army but coordinates with them under US joint command. 6. US “hires” remaining Iraqi Sunni insurgents offering them an end to war and offers protection and jobs as collaborators dubbing them the “sons of Iraq” army. 7. US sets up Isis online command and recruiting while they arm and train various militias in a new proxy war against Syria. 8. Isis declares itself in Syria with sophisticated online recruiting push targeting Muslim countries and Muslim immigrants in Europe. Sons of Iraq simultaneously disappears. 9. US had Iraqi army place $25 billion of American weapons paid by Iraq nearby Mosul, Iraq. 10. Us has Iraqi army place another $25 billion of American weapons paid by Iraq nearby Kirkuk, Iraq 11. Isis invaded Iraqi city of Mosul. Iraqi army under US command ordered a retreat to allow the transfer of $25 billion of American weapons from Iraq to Isis. 12. Kurds simultaneously attack the Iraqi city of Kirkuk. Iraqi army under US command ordered a retreat to allow transfer of $25 billion of American weapons from Iraq to Iraqi Kurdistan. 13. Isis armed with modern American weaponry expand and seize more territory in Syria. 14. A portion of the Kurdish army invaded Syria to fight ISIS but also to fight Syria and claim land for greater Kurdistan called rojava. 15 a large highly trained Iraqi Kurdish army with modern American weapons still sits poised on the Iranian border to join in a potential war on Iran.
All the while Western MSM work tirelessly 24/7 building ISIS up, giving them notoriety, free marketing which they otherwise would not have had or could have dreamed of and would have not become the “superstars/supermen” the MSM had built them up to be, but what they really are and have always been, criminals, psychopaths, losers.
Maybee You deserve nothing less then that.
Never seen and herad before. Go on and describe the future. If YOu see none go and self detonate Yourself.
Yes, actually Americans did it. You got something so called pre-Isis in 80’s in Afganistan. Some called them Talibans, some Gna, Sna, Al Qaeda, Isis, Al Nusra, but they are all rooted in so called ‘muslim’ brotherhood and more than anything else in Wahhabism and Saudi Arabia. So Americans long ago figured out that those monstrosities can fight War for them, actually Wars for them. They are all same, they’re all Wahhabis and as one can see America is doing anything to keep them going, and moreover to protect them. As simple as this.
Oh Assad, you’re sounding like an old broken record now, the needle jumping over the grooves and repeating the same tired old lines, over and over and over again, phew. Let’s tell the truth president Assad. The US under Obama with the help of the Israelis and Saudis actually started the civil war in Syria, and they did it to try and overthrow Assad and replace him with one of their own puppets. But what’s Trump done since he’s been in power. From even before he was elected he’s been saying the US should get out of Syria, Towards the end of 2017 Trump began talks with the Kurds, what they discussed wasn’t reported on but we all found out in early 2018 what was actually discussed, and by march 2018 it was confirmed, Trump wanted to pull his forces out of Syria. Between Jan 2018 and Dec 2018 the Kurds had sent neatly 80 delegations to negotiate a new agreement with Assad, so they knew well before the rest of us what Trump’s intentions were. And then back sometime before June 2018, Trump also announced he was ending support for the Free Syrian army [FSA], Obama created the FSA but Trump got rid of them. Trump, Putin, Erdogan, and Assad all worked out a deal whereby the FSA would leave Al Tanf and be shipped to Aleppo and Idlib, and after that Erdogan began supporting the FSA. And at the same time Trump also made another important announcement, he said “the US had no problem with Assad remaining in power”, and one after another all the other players fell into line too, they all repeated the mantra “Assad can stay in power”, the Israelis, the Arab League, and most if the EU nations, everyone except for Erdogan that is. Again in June there were 2 more important announcements, the first that King Abdullah had negotiated a reconciliation between the 50,000 strong Southern Front Alliance [SFA] and Assad’s government, and the second one from Trump, Trump told the 30,000 FSA and the 15,000 HTS fighters that the US would not support them in the upcoming SAA offensive, and he actually told them to go and reconcile with the Syrian government before the offensive started. And when they didn’t comply, both the US and Israel stood back and watched Assad take back all of Daraa and Quneitra without lifting a finger to help the rebels/terrorists, if the SFA hadn’t stood back there would’ve been an extra 50,000 fighters to contend with. And from that time until now Trumps been unsuccessfully trying to get out of Syria, but between objections from the Israelis, as well as objections from his own military and government departments, and now the Turkish invasion, circumstances have stopped him doing what he wants.
I really don’t know why Assad can’t make a distinction between the old Obama led US government and the new Trump led US administration, fair enough most of the people in the US government now are the same people who worked for Obama and helped make the mess in the first place [Trumps been getting rid of them though], but the new leader seems to have a completely different agenda to the previous leader, surely Assad should be trying to take advantage of that, with an ego like Trumps it shouldn’t be too hard. The US and Syria have a common enemy, Erdogan, so this is something Assad should be using to start a dialogue, find some common ground and see where it takes him, using the US to stop Erdogan isn’t switching to the other side and being traitorous, it’s a geopolitical necessity, the same thing Putin did when he began working with Erdogan. Assad has to do everything he can now to save his government, retain Syrian territory, and preserve National unity, so any and every option should be on the table, even consorting with the old enemy, especially when they have a new leader that’s the complete opposite of the last few. If Assad can work out a good deal with the UN it means he can work something out with Trump too, because there is no difference between the UN and the US, they’re virtually the same thing, so in essence, Assad’s already working with the US. So what’s the difference between woking with the UN and opening a direct line of communication with the US, not much at all. If anything Trump would be a better partner for Assad than the UN is, even Trump says the UN are useless stooges, the UN acts more like the old US administration under Obama and Bush than it does the Trump administration, so they’re the real enemy, not Trump, he’s not interested in regime change. Come on Assad, get with the times, things have changed since June 2018, your old friends have become your enemies and your old enemies could if not become your friends, at the very least stop being your enemies, talk costs nothing, and yet you’re reluctant to do so, even when you could get something beneficial from it, that’s reprehensible, especially when people are still dying.
I lost faith in Putin due to his deplorable actions during this God forsaken war, please don’t make me lose faith in you too, you’re starting to make Trump look like the good guy now, man up and do something positive, Syria needs it now.
Putin’s letting Erdogan have his way in Syria now and has for a few years, so why shouldn’t Assad do anything he can to prevent the Turks forcibly occupying Syrian territory, even if it means talking to Trump and the UN to help achieve it.
U.S going full gestapo style.
islamic State rised because the:1) the mess the US made in Iraq. 2) the hugh support and assistance of Erdogan/ Turkey to Islamic State and other jihadist terrorists. 3) the suppression and inhuman terror of the Assad governement and the will of the Syrian people to be free and not chassed down. 4) the inherent muslim philosophy that he, only and uniquely, is the true believer and the rest are wrong and unbelievers. That they agree on one thing, that they disagree on everything.
I only partly agree. There was many other good reasons for Qaida as well as ISIS. Tomany remain.
Fx I see most of the Refugees in the world are muslims. Some muslims should reflect in that and make imprtant changes – that of course as You write include Assads.
Sometimes parts of the soultions are very simple. In Assads 50% of the men and many more in women were unimployed. Those very poor are the best supporters og anti any Goverment, if they are given a paid job as soldier having food, clothe and some money.
Macaroni has read the last rites for US dreams of world domination and the funeral preparations almost complete.
The US cannot protect what has already been lost.
sure if the deep state/mic can have their say but trump is most reluctant to get embroiled in brouhahas around the world. so as long as the deepstate/mic/democrats fail in their impeachment mode and trump remains in the white house we won’t see much of such egregious behaviour.
If I could, I’d hold Obama 100% responsible for all of this…Libya included…and for supporting neo-Nazis in Ukraine. He and his cabal, that is. It’s too easy for people to blame the Deep State, foreign policy establishment, or the CIA.
He signed the directives. He’s ultimately responsible.
Absolutely, but like a lawyer that he is, Obomber always excelled in covering his tracks.
I any time prefare USA hegemony from other hegemonies and other solutions. Any time. They should listen a little more here and then, and thats it.
It seemes the Assads hegemoni for Syria is over.
Only few are emmigrants FROM USA as well as refugees.
assad is not wrong, US government is completely insane and is nothing but a threat to world peace and everything that is good in this world
