In the first quarter of this year, the Houthi-Saleh alliance has carried out dozens of sniper operations on the territory of the southwestern border regions of Saudi Arabia, killing at least 119 Saudi soldiers and mercenaries, the Yemen Watch news agency reported.

The most part of the Houthi-Saleh operations were conducted in Jizan, where 74 Saudi fighters were killed in 22 encounters. Nine military operations were carried out by alliance’s snipers in Najran, where 35 Saudi soldiers lost their lives. Other 10 Saudi mercenaries were killed in eight operations, carried out in Asir.

The report was published on the same day, when two Saudi soldiers were shot dead by snipers of the Houthi-Saleh alliance at the Alab border crossing in Asir region.

On April 3, a Saudi mercenary was killed by the alliance’s forces at the al-Karas military base, located in Jizan region. Houthi-Saleh fighters also managed to kill another Saudi soldier at the al-Farizeh base in the same Saudi region.

In April, the Reuters news agency published a report, according to which at least 400 Saudi soldiers have been killed in the cross-border fire since the beginning of the military campaign in March 2015. At the same time, Saudi senior military officials said that they would not release information about casualties of the Saudi side in the Yemeni war until the end of the campaign.

Could be 119.000 and it wouldn’t matter. SA isn’t a democracy and only poor powerless kids get killed. They don’t matter.
