A violent wave of Israeli strikes targeted the Syrian capital, Damascus, on November 14, causing a large number of casualties.
The strikes targeted two residential buildings in the Mezzeh district of the capital and the nearby city of Qudssaya, according to Syrian state TV. The Mazzeh neighborhood hosts embassies, United Nations offices and security headquarters. Qudssaya, located on the outskirts of Damascus, is also considered a highly-secured area.
The state-run Syrian Arab News Agency reported later, citing a military official, that the strikes killed 15 people and wounded at least 16 others, including women and children.
The deadly Israeli strikes took place as Syria was preparing to welcome Ali Larijani, the senior adviser to the Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. The senior Iranian official is expected to meet with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to discuses the situation in the region.
Israel has escalated its attacks on Syria since the outbreak of the war in the Palestinian enclave of the Gaza Strip last October, targeting Syrian military sites as well as personnel of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Lebanon’s Hezbollah and other factions of the so-called Axis of Resistance.
After expanding operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon in September, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said that it will work to prevent the supply of any weapons from Iran to Hezbollah through the Lebanese-Syrian border.
Just a day earlier, a series of Israeli strikes hit the central Syrian governorate of Homs, destroying a number of bridges and roads on the border with Lebanon. The IDF alleged that these routes were being used to supply Hezbollah with Iranian weapons.

or at least give to syria zircon missile to hit tel aviv
putin dont care about syria he attack only jihadist terrorist
too late now. stupid israel should’ve bombed the ithriya road & cut the last link between damascus & aleppo, during the time when every major city & military airbase were surrounded, & assad was about to be defeated & syria broken up. once putin entered he & assad managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat & opened the iran missiles, weapons, fighters landbrige that has made hizbollah undefeatable on the ground
je už fakt na čase začať likvidovať židom tie ich lietadlá!!! tak isto treba vyhnať zvyšky okupantov z usa ktorí sú stále v sýrii. ak sa nepoberú tak ich treba zlikvidovať!!! svetu mier!!!
russia needs to establish a “no fly zone” for israeli jets over syria immediately. israel is desperate to drag more and more countries into its insane, hitler-like fight against everyone in the region and beyond. now is the time to stop these mad dogs, not after they achieved their goal of destroying the entire region.
putin will never do anything against israel, he has said that “russia considers israel a russian speaking county” – this because at least 2 millions russian speakers jews live in israel – don’t count on what russia says about 2 states solution, those are empty talks, russia wants whole occupied palestine for jews but prefer less blood, less killing etc
hit tel aviv.
cant because if they do so israel will bomb assad palace problem
such potential those lovely bridge building contracts .my uncle built one in the north west and retired for life at 27 .still has pots of money to spend.
