On April 18th, at least 16 people were killed in a mass shooting in Nova Scotia, Canada.

The suspect, 51-year-old Gabriel Wortman was dressed in a police uniform, and disguised his car to look like a police car.

The shootings took place over 12 hours in the rural town of Portapique. The rampage began on the evening of April 18th, in the small town, located about 80 miles north of Halifax, and police told residents to lock their homes and stay inside.

One of the victims was Heidi Stevenson, a 23-year veteran of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and a married mother of two. A second officer was injured.

Residents of the town of Portapique said that armed officers were patrolling the streets and helicopters were used to find the suspect.

Police said the suspect Gabriel Wortman, a 51-year-old denturist, killed people in several locations and some of his victims were not known to him.

Chris Leather, the Nova Scotia RCMP’s criminal operations officer, said Wortman had been seen wearing a police uniform but it was not clear whether he had been disguised as an officer during the shootings.

“The fact that this individual had a uniform and a police car at his disposal certainly speaks to it not being a random act,” Leather said.

Wortman was arrested at a petrol station, but he later died.

Leather said the gunman had exchanged fire with police at one point.

“Our officers were involved in terminating the threat,” he said, adding the independent Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT), which probes incidents involving the province’s police, was now handling that part of the investigation.

SiRT said in a statement a confrontation had occurred in Enfield, which is near Halifax airport, “resulting in officers discharging their firearms. The suspect was found to be deceased at the scene”.

Police had said the suspect was driving what appeared to be a police car but later said he was believed to be in a small, silver Chevrolet SUV.

The attack wasn’t investigated as an act of terrorism, but Chris Leather said that it could be related to the closure of non-essential businesses in relation to the pandemic lockdown.

Nova Scotia’s premier Stephen McNeil described the shooting as “one of the most senseless acts of violence in our province’s history”.

He added: “I never imagined when I went to bed last night that I would wake up to the horrific news that an active shooter was on the loose in Nova Scotia.”

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said: “My heart goes out to everyone affected in what is a terrible situation”.

“As a country, in moments like these, we come together to support one another. Together we will mourn with the families of the victims, and help them get through this difficult time,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in his statement.

This is the deadliest such attack in Canada’s history. The second deadliest was that of a gunman killing 14 women in Montreal back in 1989.

Zionism = EVIL

Canada is a worse shithole than its Americunt masters as they have inferiority complex and are more violent and racist fuckwits. This Jew Wortman besides being a nutcase was able to buy many weapons, including military grade assault rifle and drive around in a police car. Per capita there are more mass shootings in Canada by frustrated rednecks and Jews from Montreal, Calgary, New Brunswick now to Nova Scotia.

Its not that bad here, easy bud!

Its 4:20 try and get in the spirit!

I live where the shooting in new brunswick happened, crazy times for country folk like us. This attack crossed the urban/country lines, its bizarre.

Canada is beginning to resemble the US in every way. Canadian’s can expect their gov’t to follow the US example of ensuring more rights are taken from citizens in order to keep them safe. There is possibly more to this story. Dentists do not usually go full Rambo, unless they have had their head stuck in the medical cabinet.

He was probably on psycho shooter drugs like almost all of the rest of the mass shooters. And if he hadn’t been on them it probably wouldn’t have happened. These types of incidents were rare before these dangerous drugs were legalized and flooded society.

Since “shooting in the leg” was invented, authorities in many countries tried to do it in order to capture a culprit and interrogate and find out why and how they did it to avoid a repeat in the future. Sometimes capture comes with a heavy price of friendly life but they do it anyway because it’s important.

Nowadays it seems the authorities know about the culprits, their motives and background beforehand so there’s no need to capture them alive and interrogate them, in fact it’s better to kill them quickly to avoid interrogation and the spillage of the beans altogether. Think. How many of the so-called terror attacks or mass shootings in the [collective] west resulted in a captured and alive “terrorist” or shooter?

Barba_Papa

In all fairness, and as a means of of comparison, how many culprits of terrorist attacks have been arrested in Iran and other non-Western countries?

Let me pose some other explanations. I reckon in these days, as attackers are heavily armed and willing to die, there is just less resolve to capture these lone wolves. Because they don’t want to run the risk of getting more people killed. And of course there have been shooters/terrorists captured alive. Anders Breivik sits in a Norwegian jail, the guy who stabbed people in a Dutch tram is in jail, one of the attackers of the Bataclan is also in jail, to name a few.

And I think there’s some other factors. When terrorism first reared its ugly head in Europe in the 70’s it was usually organized by terrorist groups. The various Palestinian groups, ETA, IRA, Red Brigades, Rote Armee Fraction. The terrorists didn’t seek death and tried to evade capture after the act. Suicide attacks were unheard of. Capturing the terrorist thus became quite essential as a means to stop future attacks, collect intelligence and arrest supporting members of the terrorist cells. These days however the attacker is often a lone wolf. They seek death and taking them alive nets no information. So taking them out ASAP is of far greater importance. And also attitudes have changed with the times as well. In the 70’s and 80’s terrorists were treated as criminals, as in having the same rights as criminals. A general shoot to kill policy was often criticized by the more liberal part of the public. These days liberals are far more concerned with hugging trees, welcoming illegal immigrants, punishing white folk for saying naughty words and forced diversity then dead terrorists.

On top of my head regarding Iran, the attack on parliament and Ayatollah Khomeini’s mausoleum, 2 out of a dozen or so captured (despite wearing explosive vests and being armed with automatic rifles). In 3 attacks on border stations in western Iran (last year), at least one in every attack was captured (Kord terror gangs are always armed). The terror attack on the parade in Ahvaz, at least one was captured (again, armed with automatic weapons). In numerous terror attacks and kidnapping in SW Iran (bordering Pakistan), there are about a dozen captured (either related to drugs smugglers or various Saudi-backed terror groups, either way always armed even with heavy weapons). That is the normal way. In comparison in London even when the attacker is armed with a tiny knife (at least 2 incidents) killing is the preferred method. Nobody’s heart here bleeds for terrorists. In counter terrorism, killing the current attackers is not preferable at all (although reducing the number of victims is). Preventing the future attacks and destruction of the network is at paramount importance. Information extracted from the current attack will save many lives in the future, but if we kill them, the intel they have goes with them. That is, if, prevention of future attack is really in the government’s agenda.

He was Jew fuck and the Bilderberg media totally ignored that FACT! Jew terrorists at work.

Hi Garga.

I have a few points to say.

I live about 300km from where this happened.

This guy was dressed as a police officer with his own police car he got at auction , pulling people over and executing them.

In my town we had a similar incident in 2014, except the shooter, justin bourque, targeted only police, he killed 3 and injured 3. He shot at one of my high school friends as well. On penrose st…

In this instance, the RCMP WAS SUCCESFUL in apprehending the suspect, alive, after a 3 day manhunt. It was an amazing police operation, that finished peacfully. It was a rare case of how to do it right.

The interviews with Justin Bourque are online, he spilled some beans, have a listen if you choose.

Sadly, not all cases finish this way, Sunday’s tragedy ended this way, we dont know why yet, all we can say is god choose it this way.

That being said, this is the second mass shooting in this area of the world in 6 years.

Were the Maritimes here were supposed to be chill and laid back, and we really are.

Cheers !

Garga

Hi Mike. Sad to see Canada going the same way America went (the government is as bad as America’s but the people used to be different).

If apprehending alive is the decision there are ways the response team can do that, unless the attacker commits suicide before they catch him or her. In the examples I wrote below in my reply to @Barba_Papa, some of the attackers (parliament building and mausoleum) wore explosive vests and some had cyanide capsules (this one is the MO of the terror cult, MKO). Some of them were killed in exchange of fire (and they put a fight), some bit the capsule and a woman blew herself but they managed to capture one before biting his cyanide. The other one was hit and in a bleeding shock, captured alive and be kept alive.

Every attacker runs out of ammo sooner or later. After securing the perimeter and evacuation of bystanders Police can use flash-bang grenades or gas, nausea-inducing sound devices or other means to incapacitate and apprehend. Long story short, I think in this incident if the guy did not kill himself then they didn’t want to catch him alive.

Nothing at ALL to do with the freedom of gun ownership that Canadians enjoy compared to the US of A. NZ had it’s own supposed mass shooting and voila – within about 20 seconds parliament manages to enact new legislation banning semi-automatic firearms. The same parliament that has been dithering about capital gains tax for 30 years. PS, the NZ shooter pled guilty to all terrorism charges, so no trial, no witnesses, no public scrutiny. So lemme guess what happens next in Canada.
