The Syrian Army continues its offensive in northern Hama, killing at least 60 terrorists and wounding 70 others, as well as destroying a number of their military hardware.

On Thursday, terrorist groups’ military positions near the strategic town of Mourek in the northern parts of Hama province were pounded by the Syrian Air Force. As result, dozens of terrorists were killed and wounded.

Terrorists’ gatherings in Mourek, Tibet al-Imam and surrounding areas of al-Buwaida and Souran in Hama province were targeted and hit by Syrian fighter jets. The attack resulted in killing a large number of terrorists and destroying scores of their vehicles, some of which were equipped with machine guns.

At the same time, airstrikes on positions of the Jaish al-Nasr and Jund al-Aqsa terrorist groups near Souran village in the northern parts of Hama were also launched by the Syrian Air Force. As result, over 10 terrorists were killed and their infantry combat vehicles were smashed.

Earlier on Thursday, the Syrian Army‘s operations in the northern parts of Hama province killed 50 Jaish al-Fatah terrorists and wounded more than 70 others.

The Syrian Army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) repelled a terrorists’ attack in the surroundings of Soran in northern Hama. As result, tens of terrorists were killed and two their tanks were destroyed, the Fars news agency reported, citing an unnamed military source.

Concentrated strikes on terrorists’ gatherings in the western parts of Taibat al-Imam in Hama’s northern regions were also launched by Syrian troops. Several terrorists were killed.

According to the Fars’ source, the Syrian Army’s units also took part in heavy clashes with terrorists in the area of al-Boida and Maarkaba towns in the northern parts of Hama. A number of tanks were destroyed, as well as 50 terrorists were killed and 70 others were injured during the clashes. The source also added that leader of the so-called Jeish al-Izza terrorist group, Mohamed al-Ashqar, were among killed.
