The US warplanes have continued to bomb the hospital even after media perorts that there were only civilians.

Last night, the US Air Forces striked a hospital in the Afghan town of Kunduz. Attack killed at least nine Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) staff. 30 people are unaccounted.
At the time that the US air strike, over 80 personnel (local and international) and over 105 patients were inside the building.
“We are deeply shocked by the attack, the killing of our staff and patients and the heavy toll it has inflicted on healthcare in Kunduz,” the Doctors Without Borders’ statement reads.
NATO has admitted a US airstrike may have caused accidental “collateral damage.”
Meanwhile, mainstream Western media blame Russia which threatens “liberal moderate terrorists” in Syria.
Update:
As of this hour the number of victims dead from a US airstrike on the only fully functioning hospital in the city of Kunduz, Northern Afghanistan stands at 16 people dead, 9 of those who were killed were part of the Doctors Without Borders organization. Some sources are reporting the number of aid workers dead at much higher.
Another 37 people were injured in the strikes “Among the dead was the Afghan head of the hospital, Abdul Sattar,” reported The New York Times.
The US secretary of defense, Ash Carter, has released this statement on the airstrike:
Overnight I learned of a tragic incident involving a Doctors without Borders hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan, that came under fire. The area has been the scene of intense fighting the last few days. U.S. forces in support of Afghan Security Forces were operating nearby, as were Taliban fighters.
While we are still trying to determine exactly what happened, I want to extend my thoughts and prayers to everyone affected. A full investigation into the tragic incident is underway in coordination with the Afghan government.
At this difficult moment, we will continue to work with our Afghan partners to try and end the ongoing violence in and around Kunduz.
The numbers we are hearing may very well go up in the coming hours. These strikes come only a day after Russia was scalded by the US establishment and the usual mainstream media outlets for launching airstrikes in Syria.
