The US-based media outlet ISW released a map summing up attacks on US facilities in Iraq from January 3, 2020 to March 17, 2020. US and Israeli sources blame Iran for the escalation. However, the map allows to get a general look at the situation in which US forces found itself in Iraq. So, they are now evacuating a part of their bases under the pretext of the success against ISIS and the COVID-19 threat.
