Armenian forces have repulsed numerous attacks by the Azerbaijani side on the city of Shusha in the contested Nagorno-Karabakh region, the Armenian side reported on November 7 morning.
“Stubborn and intense battles took place at night on the Shushi-Karintak sector. The army units of Karabakh successfully stopped numerous attacks of the enemy, who suffered heavy losses in manpower,” the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Ministry said.
Nonetheless, these attacks did not put an end to Azerbaijani-Turkish attempts to capture the town. They once again tried to enter Shusha in the second half of the day, and according to Armenian and Azerbaijani sources, at least one Azerbaijani unit reached the town engaging the Armenians there in an intense fighting. However, this attack was also reportedly repelled. After this, the Armenian military reported about ‘successes’ south of Shusha. The town, according to Armenia, remains in the hands of its forces, but Azerbaijan carried out intense strikes on it. Journalists are not allowed to operate there.
At the same time, Yerevan admits that the situation in the area of Martuni remains very complicated.

Even if Armenian forces have repelled the current Azerbaijani attack on Shusha, the crisis in the area is not resolved. The Azerbaijani-Turkish bloc has fire control of a large part of the Lachin- husha highway. It is not entirely clear what parts of the highway Azerbaijani forces control directly, it is apparent that it cannot be used as a permanent supply line for Armenian troops in Shusha.
At the same time the deterioration weather conditions undermined the scale of air support that Azerbaijani troops receive. Also, Baku experiences serious difficulties with deploying heavy military equipment in the area due to the terrain and their lack of control of proper roads there. These factors create conditions for counter-attacks by dedicated and motivated Armenian units armed with mortars and ATGMs and supported by artillery.
The main fighting is in fact ongoing for heights near Martuni and Shushi. The side that would control these heights will in the future be able to control these towns.

AMN and Anna are reporting that a no fly zone has been put in place. I’m assuming by the Russians. Over Artsahk closing it to the IDF, Azeris and Turks. And that Artsahk armor is being brought up to the front lines to repell the Azeri invasion.
Sky was closed because of weather not because of NK 2A/AD capabilities.
Those are all weather drones aren’t they? It doesn’t appear to be raining, snowing or windy in the videos from the combat zone. Do you have a link on the weather stopping drone activity?
Just saying what TG channels from both sides said. For example Russian jurno WarGonzo, which works on Armenian side, posted some photos of NK tanks and wrote that because of bad weather NK can freely maneuver their tanks. Maybe it is not because drones can’t fly, but because operators can’t see their target and if Darien goes lower it is downed by manpads.
